"Doc Martens are known to be a classically sturdy shoe, and these certainly did not disappoint. When I first got them, they were the stiffest shoes I had ever put on my feet - but that's to be expected. These shoes are meant to be broken in, and will not be comfortable until you do so. I have to admit, the process of actually breaking them in is a painful one, my feet bled a couple times. To begin with they were also squeaky as heck, but trust me, it's all worth it. Once they form to your feet, they are the comfiest things ever. They're good for a working shoe, I wear them a lot to work on my car; but they are also great for everyday wear. The reason I say they run large is because they do stretch out. All in all, a great purchase that is well worth the price, if only because of the quality and how long they'll last."
