"This is a great dress, and the length is good to wear to work. I'm 5'3", 118 lbs, and like some other reviewers said, this runs small. I bought a small but had to return because it was tight in the arms/shoulders."

great shirt dress

"light, comfortable material and good fit. Better than I expected.
I'm 5'7 and 118lb, size M is just perfect. It's above knee but not too short. I especially like the pocket, very handy for small stuff, you may not be able to put anything heavy there as the dress is very light. The color is true to what they showed online. Since this is a elastic waist, even without belt, it looks good."

"This is an awesome dress. I'm 5'4" and I bought it in a small, it fits perfectly! It's not abnormally tight, but it's not too big. It hits a few inches above the knee and is the perfect summer dress!"

Great little dress

"I bought this for my daughter and she loves it! She is petite - 5' - 100 lbs. and the x-small fit her perfectly. She recently took it on a trip and when she got home, I hand washed it in the sink, hung it up to dry and it looked perfect - no ironing needed. It is very light and and a great packer. I'm considering getting her another one in a different color."

"Looking at this dress online, I normally wouldn't go for it. But I seen it in person and I absolutely had to have it. They were sold out in all of the navy polka dotted one except for one size XS. I am normally a size small but I still went and tried it on. It looks so cute on and still fit well because the waist is elastic and stretches. I would still recommend ordering your usual size though!"

"I bought this in the green in a size small. It fits pretty true to size, I'm 5'3" 120 lbs, 34B/26/33. This is pretty much the perfect dress. You can dress it up or down, and it doesn't wrinkle too easily. Getting wrinkles out can be a pain, though. I felt like the dress was a tad big on me, but an XS probably would have been too short/tight. I just wore a belt with it and that fixed the problem. Overall, this is a great addition to anyone's wardrobe for a simple yet cute dress."

"Unless you have very small boobs (A) I would size up. I normally wear an XS in dresses but the buttons were pulling over my chest (34B), so I went with the small. Also the dress is kind of short, so sizing up makes it more appropriate. It's super cute, comfy and easy to wear! Has pockets too. For reference I'm 5'6 117 pounds."

"i got the rose one and i love it. if you have big boobs i would size up. i got the medium at first but it was small on top. the arm holes seem to be made a little small but overall this is a great dress for work, lunch with friends or family. the price is great for the quality"

"I love this dress a lot; the look, and feel. However the fit was a bit snug. I typically wear a small, I'm 5'5" and 130 lbs. However, the small in this was too tight and didn't look very flattering. I'm hoping to return it and try for another size. Runs small, but other than that it's great!"

"I purchased the rose color and it's gorgeous in person. I typically hesitate with online purchases because half the time I end up having to return the item, but with this I'm so glad I took a chance. I bought a medium (I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs.) and it looks just slightly bigger on me than on the model, but the fit is perfect, so I'm happy I went with that size. If you're on the fence about purchasing this, don't even think twice!"

"I've been looking to buy a few sundresses for spring/summer and saw the red floral version of this a couple of months ago featured in the catalog, and I thought it was so lovely. I was bummed they ran out of my size then but luckily I was able to find it in stock again last week and ordered it right away.
It is an absolutely adorable dress and it fits me perfectly! For me, the dress isn't too tight or too short as others have mentioned, although I am quite petite (5'1, 30-23-33, A/B cup). I like how it's cut longer in the back for modesty, and the red floral print is really pretty and compliments my skin tone. I've been shopping at UO for years and this is probably my favorite purchase yet!"

"I'm 5'2 and ordered this dress in two colours. The polka dot in a small and the black in an extra small because they didn't have any smalls at the time that I ordered it. The small fits perfectly! It is a bit short I agree, but being 5'2 I didn't find it to be a problem for me. The dress comes down a bit further in the back than in the front but if it didn't your behind would show very easily if you had to bend over at all. I am planning on exchanging my black Xsmall for a small or simply in a different colour. I love this dress!"

CUTE Dress, but runs a little small and short

I got the dress in XS and its really tight in the arm's shoulder area.
Although, my upper body is a little bit thicker than some other girls my size, but nonetheless, i'm still pretty petite in stature.
It runs up on the sides so it's really short there.
However, if the dress had just fit right, I would have kept it.
The fabric is so soft, and I just absolutely love that red floral pattern. I'm so sad to have to return this!"

"I love this dress and the fabric feels great, but the bottom was too tight for me. I am normally a small for bottoms (~27 jeans), and I can normally wear an XS for dresses if the bottom is meant to be flowy. I tried this dress on in stores and had to size up to a medium to get the bottom to fit right (for the blouse-y look as seen in the pictures). This means I have to take in the top. I really don't mind doing alterations in the end, because I love the polka dots and the dress is great otherwise. Though I must caution girls ordering this dress who are bigger on the bottom."

"I ordered this in the red. It was really cute, but the fit was awful. The sleeves were really tight and the neckline wouldn't lay flat because it was pulling more to one side. What a shame. :("

"I was so excited to try this dress on. I wanted a plain black or dark colored dress to wear to a work event. Was so excited, tried it on and it was wayyy to short. Fit everywhere else okay but not appropriate to even wear with tights. Did not buy. If you wear leggings with it, would be cute or if you are shorter. I am 5'6""
