"normally I try to avoid doc martens even though I really like how they look because they're pretty heavy but I got a pair of these black ones for christmas and I absolutely love them! they are beautiful and they hold up well in the seattle rain. doc martens are rough to break in and mine are still pretty stiff. also go a size down because they run really big."

"ok. I've been feverishly stalking these shoes for a few months and finally bought the red ones I'm a solid size 9 so thats what I ordered..but when I first tried them on I was horrified! They were like a size too big and I thought they looked HUGE!! so angry! The next day I put on a few socks, tried them on again and suprise surprise they didn't look THAT big anymore and the fit was better.
I love how every shoe is different due to the fabric placement but i was afraid the wool would get dirty. BUT I wore them in the pouring rain/ mud and they kept my feet dry and the fabric stayed in tact.
A little bummed they are big but they are sooo aswesome and unique and oh so comfortable .. I get lots of compliments! Snatch them quick bc they're selling out fast everywhere [at least the red ones are] ** unless you want to wear man socks I suggest going down a size."
