"I received an e-card from a friend and was very disappointed to find that you cannot use them online unless you have a major credit card. It makes no sense to purchase gift cards if a person has to put in all their personal information and supply a credit card. It would seem that the companies technical support should be able to provide a way to calculate the gift card using the card number. This practice discriminates against people who choose to not have credit cards. Although you could use the e-card in stores. What happens if you do not live close to any of their stores."
