"I was afraid because elf is a cheap brand that the eye-shadow wouldn't be that pigmented. I was wrong. It is so pigmented and is actually a great quality. Although some of the colours seem extremely similar."

Awesome last minute splurge
(July 13, 2013)
"To be entirely honest, I only bought this eyeshadow b/c I was a dollar away from free shipping, so it made more sense to spend a buck on eyeshadow, than ten bucks on nothing. I got “Caffeinated”, which is listed in the color choices online as “Brown”. The color is really nice- an earthy, coffee-esque hue, with highlights of pink and gold. I love mineral powder eye shadows, b/c they always have really vibrant, rich colors that make your eyes pop, and you can usually get two or three different shades out of it, depending on how much you use. That makes it the perfect all-purpose eyeshadow for me- something soft and subtle, thanks to a light dusting in the AM, or something deep and smoky courtesy of a few extra layers, in the evening. However, the thing that really impressed me was its staying power- typically mineral powder eyeshadow slide off pretty fast, even if I top them with a bit of powder to set. So I was surprised to find it still there after 6 hours of work. A little less vibrant, but not enough to warrant a touch up. And a little goes a long way. At only $3.00 a pop, and with so many über rich colors to pick from, i'm definitely getting a few more. Overall, a serendipitous little buy that I'd recommend to anyone."

Should Be Called a Powder

"I got this shade in girly... I have olive skin-- not Italian, just look it. This eyeshadow is a powder and is not very pigmented. I basically just got a sparkle on me. An average to mediocre eyeshadow."
