okay, but not for boots

"I purchased these socks with the intention of wearing them underneath my knee-high boots. They were very cute before I put the boots on and wore them, but once I took my boots off, the socks seemed frayed, like all the little threads that are used to make the cool, offset pattern, gave up. They don't have holes in them or anything, they just kinda look bad and terribly worn after the first use. I recommend them for around the house wear, perhaps, but not as a sock to wear under boots."
