"I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it and after trying it on I was sold. I bought the nude in an xsmall on impulse and definitely have not regretted it. Though I usually take a small in most items, being 5'2 and 115 lbs, I felt that the small would have been too big around the waist. The picture does not do the dress justice."

"this dress is absolutely cute! I havent yet used it, but i can tell its a real good fabric and really well finished. I followed a tip from one of the reviwes below and regreted it: do not size it down, it fits right to size. Since I live in Brazil, exchange is not an option to me, so I will try to make it a little larger with my tailor, so the fit would get a bit more roomy and flow a little more away from the body. Other than this, just buy it!"

"I recently purchased this dress in the dark blue, and consider it to be a good buy (its at a reasonable price now). I would recommend if you are a curvier girl to get a size up, I ordered a medium and although it fits, I would like for it to be a tad bigger. It really is beautiful and would pair nicely with a headband and some heels with socks. Definately a 20's feel when wearing and you can dress it up as much as you'd like. Really like this dress."

"Love this dress. I am 5'9" and about 150lbs. I got the nude color in large and love it. Just wore it to a dance last weekend with black lace tights and black flats and got so many compliments. Very comfortable and uncomplicated, nice material, nothing itchy or awkward. And of course the fringe is to die for. I suggest leaning toward getting a size bigger instead of smaller, it's more flattering if it doesn't hug you. Fabric is a little see-through so expect to wear a slip of sorts. Can't wait to come up with an excuse to wear it again!"

"I love this dress. It's unique, and I'm tall enough that the fringe isn't too crazy (it hits above my knee). The only reason I gave it a four is because it's a bit darker in person, and the embroidered pattern on the front is a lot more pronounced. I don't mind it... I really like it in fact, just be aware.
Also, I bought an XS and it fit great; I'm 5'9", 120 pounds. It is a bit loose around the waist, but it's still beautiful!"

"A few reviews said that the bottom fringe needed to be taken off, personally I liked the look of the extra fringe. I got the blue in an extra small. I'm 5' 6'' and 110 lbs. I suggest to get the dress, especially now that it is on sale! It looks great on a non-curvy shape, I don't know about one that isn't that way... overall I suggest to purchase this dress!"

"I've finally purchased this dress after admiring it for months, and I'm so happy I did! I'm usually a size 2-4, so I would probably have gone with a small, but the XS was all they had left and I gladly bought it. Instead of it being the loosey goosey fit shone in the pictures (which probably would have been what the small looked like on me), it fit a bit more snug around the hips and bust. So if you're possibly thinking of going for a more fitted look, think about buying a size down. I'm a total fringe girl, so the double layers were a huge bonus to me. I'm about 5'7" and with buying the XS, the fringe adds a much needed length to keep me from looking too revealing. The more I put it on the more I fall in love with it. I simply can't wait for my next night out!"

"Bringing in the old stuff back. LOVE THIS DRESS! I knew I'd like this dress on even just seeing it on the hanger. It's not form fitted (which I'm so glad). The fringe on the bottom, I love it. It makes the dress so different and not so original like the others with just the embroidery. I'm 5'1" and I'm not that tall but I like the fringes dangling down on me. It's super cute and vintage looking. I'm looking forward to wear this out. :)"

The dress was AWFUL... at first

"When I first tried on the dress, I seriously thought it was hideous. The fringe on the bottom was terrible (as described by previous reviewer). However, after reading the review about how it could be removed easily, I used a seam ripper and removed the bottom fringe. Then, to put it to good use, I cut it into smaller pieces and sewed it ABOVE what used to be the top fringe, and BAM! Suddenly, this hideous dress became beautiful :) I am 5'4" and 110 lbs and bought an XS. Before it was way too long for my height, but now it is perfect! I am so thankful to the previous review for this brilliant idea!"

"I saw this in the store in nude and thought it was so pretty—was sold on the embroidery but not the fringe. Luckily, the second tear of fringe is attached with one super thin thread, and once detached this dress is AMAZING. I'm 5'5, 115 pounds and got an XS. Taller girls could probably rock the dress as is, the second row of fringe was just a little much for me."

"Love this dress! I ordered the nude and thought it might not fit correctly. I am 5'10" and the proportions are good. They would probably be good on someone 5"7" or 5'8" or taller. I usually wear a 6 or 8 and the Medium fit perfectly. The photo looked like it was more like a cotton, but this moves with you, so it's probably better that it's a slinky fabric. It feels a bit daring and I can't wait to wear it tomorrow night!"

"Im 5'9 and about 120 llbs. I saw this in my urban outfitters and instanly wanted it! But when I tried it on, it was just bad. I am very curvy, and i think it is WAY cuter on straight figured girls. It is a lovely dress, just not for some girls. I recommend not buying it if you're curvier."

"As soon as I saw this dress I wanted it! So very Daisy Bunchanan. It is a very lovely dress, if you are taller. The slip underneath is kind of short and cheesecloth like. I'm 5'0 104 lbs and I got an XSmall. I was scared the tassels would be long on me, which they were. Also even with the slip you can see your underwear. So I'd suggest nude underwear or even another slip. I'm going to send it back seeing I have no use for this unflattering dress. No harm in trying since UO offers lovely free returns!"
