I was lucky!

"I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this sweater, simply because having read the other reviews about the sizing being totally wrong, not being happy with their version, too itchy etc didn't make me feel very confident. However I went ahead, as I really had high hopes of receiving one like Demi Lovato's style. I was lucky! I decided to order a Women's size M/L, just because I like my sweaters baggy (I'm a size US 4) AND because having read the other reviews, it does run small so I played it safe. It is a tad on the 'too big' side of things, but the style makes up for it. With Urban Renewal, it's very much a hit or miss situation unfortunately as it's a mix of second hand vintage pieces (so one is never like the other) that have been spruced up like the picture shown. All I can say is keep your fingers crossed when you order and if you're like myself and prefer things baggy, grab the M/L size to be safe :)"

"It's not as itchy as most reviews say, it's doable. But my sweater came with buttons and the waistband and sleeves are elastic. It gives the sweater a more round and plump look when I was going for the slouchy and baggy look. Also, the buttons sort of ruined the foiled V pattern. I'm 5'3' and 115 lbs, I ordered a s/m and it would fit exactly how I wanted if it weren't for the elastic. It's not what I expected for $94 and sort of a let down. I recommend it if you like the style, just hope for the best from Urban Renewal!"

"I read the reviews and I will admit the fabric is itchy but other than that its an amazing buy. It looks great with leggings and my sweater ran true to size. I am 5'5 and 120lbs and ordered a small."

"The fabric is so itchy! It is doable if you wear something under it. I also thought it was very bulky and not extremely flattering, I got the large size and ended up returning it. I felt it was a let down for $90."

"I read everyone's reviews on this sweater, I wanted it as soon as I saw Demi in it. After reading it ran small I ended up buying the male version of it which is identical to this one. I bought the M/L size and I love it! It is a little scratchy but that's nothing an undershirt can't help. But for any girls who aren't stick skinny and love their sweaters baggy i'd recommend the boys version it's the absolute same just in the male section.."

It's doable

"Sweater is of course different cause it's urban renewal
mine has weird sleeves and the gold strip goes down, and the gold is thick and not easy to physically break in so I put it in the wash with lots of softner and it help!
I am literally the same size of demi lovato. i got a m/l and i like how it fits. Normally I am a medium. The neckline on mine isn't high, it's like "normal" and also it is kind of itchy but nothing an undershirt won't fix."

UO Strikes again!!

"Urban Outfitters is always risky to order from online because half the time they get it right, while unfortunately the other half, it's completely wrong! I am 5'1 113lbs so I ordered a small. I had been wanting to order this for awhile now, and when I saw it on Demi Lovato, I knew I had to get it. When it arrived, I tried it on and it was completely not as pictured, It was itchy and not as long as in the picture, in fact, its very short and boxy. The color was wrong as well. In the picture, you clearly see white on top and a grayish-blue on the bottom, well the one I got the top was not white but a cream color mixed with the grayish-blue. I am very disappointed."

Rough, Scratchy, and too Small!

"I was really excited to get this sweater. I ordered it in the S/M size, and it came incredibly small. The fabric was stiff and rough, it didn't have much "give" to it. The neckline is unnaturally high, and the gold foiling was surprisingly unflexible, as though it had been thickly spray-painted. Contrary to what the other reviewer said, the fabric wasn't soft at all, it was actually quite itchy. This was a big disappointment, for $94 especially. I ended up sending it back."

"The one I got has a different knit pattern, but I still like it. It's really soft and the foiling is so cool. The only problem I have is that the grey goes above the foiling at some parts and the dye in the back is a little blotchy. Other than that, I love it. If you get it from the store, try it on, because there's a wide variation in sizes and they don't have labels."
