unstable

(June 3, 2013)
"This little desk looks nice enough. It took some effort to get it assembled. But my real problem with it is that it falls forward VERY easily. I tried adjusting the leveling feet, but that didn't make much difference. It was a decent price on super sale, otherwise I would have surely returned it.
It is only usable if pushed against a wall like in the photo online. It will not stand alone for long because a small amount of weight on the front or a slight tipping from the back will send it crashing to the ground.

Disappointed

(May 22, 2013)
"I am really bummed out about this desk however the wood top is beautiful but the quality of the legs is terrible. I ended up receiving one slightly bent leg. The metal had several dings all over it like ti dropped several times and some of the holes for the screws looked were gigantic and much bigger than the screws themselves. Assembly was not easy and the directions require two people to assemble. Not impressed! Because of the bent leg it is impossible to assemble correctly. Although the wood top is beautiful the metal legs are cheap."

Beautiful but Hard to Assemble

(May 20, 2013)
"I can't tell you how difficult this was for me to assemble. I needed a friend to help out, which was expected, but even with his help I couldn't seem to get the legs to line up properly with the pre-drilled holes in the desk surface. It took a lot of muscle power to finally assemble it but it was well worth it. The surface of the desk itself is a beautiful solid slab of mango wood that looks even better in person than it does online. I am a grad student with limited space in my apartment and this desk is the perfect size for my laptop and books. I don't see why you would need any more space than this. I love the size and the nostalgia factor of this desk."
