"This couch looks exactly like it's pictured! The green color is perfect and the texture of the fabric feels nice! It's definitely a firm couch but I love it that way! I read reviews on all the couches UO had to offer and many people were complaining about their butt's being imprinted on other furniture, this is firm enough not to have that happen. I also love the diamond pattern without the worry of buttons falling out! The couch comes with the arms/legs zipped up under/inside it! Really cool! Assembly was only a 10 minute ordeal. So simple! Would definitely buy again."

"Bought a couple for the coffee shop. Color is spot on (charcoal) . Easy to put together. And it's definitely sturdy, because I think it's made of solid stone.. I think I would sleep better on pure diamond than this thing. I sat on it and got the wind knocked out of me. So to say it is a "tad firm" is like saying the sun is a "tad warm" . I've had it for a couple weeks so hopefully it breaks in a little bit so people don't shatter their tail bones."

"I sleep on this sofa more than I do my own bed! All my guests love it. It's firm yet smooth, kinda velvet-y to the touch. I have had it for about 2 months and it does soften up. The only set back is that it took forever to arrive. But it was definitely worth the wait. This vintage-inspired sleeper goes great in my industrial-style loft. It adds a hint of color and pulls my living room space together quite nicely."

"Glad to have found a full length sofa that looks great, fit up into my 2nd floor apartment in a house built in 1900 with narrow stairs & 90 degree turns around corners, and is not too expensive. Wanted the moss, but ordered the swatches & saw that the moss would be more yellowy than it appears online. Went with the charcoal, which really should be called slate blue. It is most definitely a muted navy/grey, not charcoal grey as the picture indicates, but nice. It had to be taken out of the box to fit up &around our staircase with some finagling, but once in and quickly assembled, it was great! My 6'3' husband can lay across it comfortably and 4 people can sit in it if they like each other or 3 with plenty of space. However: it is no more than a pretty, padded folding bench, and I wonder about its longevity. The cushion is thin, the arms are really flimsy feeling, & I'm hesitant to lean on them at all if they weren't supported by a table on one side & a heavy trunk on the other. The firmness is nice if you're sitting upright with company, but for lounging with a book or shlumping in front of the tv, it's not the most comfortable...at all. I'm pleased to add attractive extra seating in our cramped apartment, but this would not be my first choice for a velvet sleeper sofa if I had the option to fit a real couch in my place. Keep that in mind when purchasing this. I included a picture of the box delivered because you cannot believe how small it is until you see it! About the size of a Queen mattress. I had to jump through some hoops to get dimensions of the actual box packaging, and they are approximately L= 78" W= 48.5" H= 13.5" (not the same as assembled, obvs.)"

"My husband bought this couch for me in moss for my birthday to go in my office in our apartment. The color is beautiful, and the style fits perfectly with the mix of shabby antique and sleek contemporary furniture I have in the room. It is definitely on the firm side, which I personally prefer. That said, my mother-in-law and my mother have both slept on it comfortably (separately), each for a week at a time.
The original sofa I received had a wonky arm that sat at a bit of an angle to the back. I called customer service and, within a few days, I had a replacement delivered to me, completely hassle free—minus the minor inconvenience of having to assemble another couch, but the assembly is straightforward and simple. Really, really pleased with my purchase and my overall experience."

"I purchased the green version and it is stunning. The color takes on different shades depending on the light and angle. The couch is comfortable and doesn't sag when you sit on it. And the fact that it's also a sofabed really seals the deal! My only complaint is about the ridiculously inappropriate packaging material. The couch was wrapped in some terrible half-paper, half-fabric stuff that was incredibly hard to remove. I literally spent about two hours vacuuming the couch and the floor. Urban Outfitters, please consider switching to regular plastic or some other packaging instead of this annoying and gross material."

Beautiful, worth the price

"This is a lovely couch. I got the midnight blue, which is just slightly brighter than the picture. It has an almost royal purple sheen from some angles. (See attached photo.) Definitely a versatile and unique color. The only downside to this color is that dark velvet attracts a lot of dust! But that's a minor deterrent.
As other reviewers have noted, it's a firm couch, but not at all uncomfortable (and better for your back!). It's very roomy, nice and long, and folds down easily. This is a good alternative to the typical sleeper sofa, simply because it's so light (95 pounds).
I had great luck with delivery -- it showed up exactly 3 weeks after I ordered it. It was very simple to put together. The only minor complaint I have is that the quality of the "legs" is not great -- two were a bit banged-up and one had black paint smudged on it. Once it's put together, however, these minor problems are hardly noticeable.
I think this is actually an incredible price for a sofa of this quality -- particularly for a sleeper! All in all, I'm very happy."

"I cannot rave enough for this beauty. I got it for Christmas because I have a severe case of a disease called Multiple Sclerosis, and I am bedridden much of the time because of it. Since I don't even leave my room somedays, I wanted something that could serve as a bed and couch. I couldn't be happier with it! It is kinda stiff, but it's worth it for the versatility. I have it in plum and adore how easily it transforms."

"I just had Ava in Charcoal delivered, and she is such a beauty! She seems to be built fairly well, and the stitching is really decent. The velvet fabric is so lovely and perfectly matches the boho theme I'm going for in my home. Seriously, the only thing I'm concerned about is that I don't know how the fabric will hold up to, for example, a water spill, so I am going to just forbid all food and drinks from entering the living room. The color ranges from dark to lighter silvery depending on the angle you're looking at it from and is a very "mature" color, not like it belongs in a college student's home. All in all I highly recommend this sofa."

"we bought it in charcoal. the color changes depending on the light. it has a very velvety look to it. a bit of a sheen. sometimes the color even looks a bit purple.
it is a stiff sofa as other described but i don't mind it. it's comfortable to sit.
Very easy to assemble. delivered within 2 weeks. delivery service called twice, once to schedule, and second time to give time and date.
love this sofa. it is perfect for our house!!"

"I just received this couch and I'm in LOVE! I placed my order on 1/8 and it arrived 1/17! The assembly was quick and painless. Just under 15 minutes. I can't wait to curl up on this couch with a good book and a glass of wine. The moss color is exactly what I anticipated. (I had UO send me swatches prior to my purchase at no cost). The size is great for a small living area. Customer service from the delivery company was superb. I could go on and on about this but I have a new, wonderful couch to sit on!!!"

"I adore this sofa! I was sold when I found out it folds down to a sleeper. She is so beautiful words cannot explain. I love her so much I even refer to her by name and told my boyfriend I don't even want anyone sitting on it. I ordered the charcoal color and to my surprise its a little lighter then the reviews said it would be. My apartment has great lighting and in some angles it almost has a silver tone to it. GREAT choice. Looks wonderful with many colors. A little on the firm side but who cares. Look at how wonderful this sofa would look in your room. Took about 3 weeks to arrive but so worth the wait."

"this is more of a 4.5 stars rating...
I purchased this fella 2 months ago (after heavily searching in thrift and antique shops for something similar), and he's still holding up to my expectations and getting better with age.
Contact from the warehouse and delivery were exceptionally speedy and friendly. He arrived exactly two weeks after my date of purchase. Assembly was a bit of a workout, but, extremely simple. The sofa was reasonably firm upon arrival but has since worn in nicely. Plus, the fold-out feature has also proven to be a nice addition. It is quick to convert and is moderately comfortable.
The coloring of my Charcoal sofa is a hair bit darker than in the photos. This was no dissatisfaction to me though, grey in any shade is my favorite. I have also seen the MOSS in person, it a bit brighter than online. As well as the SABLE, which was a bit more pink than pictured. In any color, the tufted effect does do the trick of adding something special without worrying about snagging buttons off.
I paid full price on this sofa, although I think it should have been more in the $400-$500 price range. That's not to say the sofa is of poor quality, it just doesn't scream "I was nearly $800!". This is definitely a good trial sofa, a piece any 20-something will be glad to have in their home for a starter. I'm sure as my life putters along I'll eventually get a new sofa and this one will happily live in a guest room, office, cat-child's bedroom, or library.
Any way I go, I'm glad I could find something with that vintage feel for my eclectic home without having to go the used route. It's the perfect place to eat cheese or watch Masterpiece Classic on a Sunday night. I'm a happy girl."

"Beautiful sofa! I attached a pic so you can see the intriguing color. The size is great, and it's a welcome edition to our new home. Have turned it into a sleeper just to check it out, and it will fit just about any ONE person length-wise, but not more than one width-wise. Still, it's a great sofa and just beautiful. Very soft fabric (velvet) and the cushion, as mentioned in other reviews, is firm but NOT too hard. We've had the sofa for about a month now, and it's not sagging or misshapen at all. For this price it is an exceptional buy and a funky, fun, functional and pretty additional to our room. Style of the room is industrial, metal, modern and antique all mushed together:) Recommend very much!"

"I don't know how it will sleep but it looks fabulous in my office. The color is a perfect neutral and I can see so many colors working with it but I chose blacks, blues and grays. Excellent delivery and easy set-up was much appreciated by my husband! It has been a fun piece to decorate with and works perfect for a room with no space for a bed and needed something more unique than a traditional sofa bed. I am a fan."

"We were delighted when the sofa arrived- it looked fantastic- we ordered it in green and the colour was awesome (just like the photo). After putting it together it looked like one of the arms was a little off kilter but we thought that it wasn't a deal breaker because the price was amazing and it was pretty comfortable- firm but comfy.
After two weeks one of the legs broke off.
We sent it back & got a refund. Too bad because it looked great but was terrible quality."
