Colour darker than pictured

(May 7, 2013)
"The colour is a lot darker than pictured, and less 'grunge' looking. I like the style but it's frustrating because I bought them for the colour as I already own a pair of overalls similar.
I bought the S/M and I am a small size 10 Australian. I definitely would not want to go bigger. I have quite a long torso and still had to make the straps a lot shorter.
Overall, if you don't have an overall dress this is still a good buy, but the colour is not as pictured and should be updated."

AMAZING

(April 28, 2013)
"Okay so as always with urban renewal I knew this would probably be the best thing I buy this year, or the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Luckily it turned out to be the first!
My biggest concern was that this would be too large on me as I usually am an XS, and they only had the option for S/M.
It is definitely a baggy fit but its perfect! The only complaint is that one of the straps comes un done a lot, but I'm thinking I can squeeze it with some pliers to tighten it and it will be fine!
Mine ended up being darker than the one pictured but I still liked it as it wasn't super dark.
Order with caution! And don't be angry if you don't get one like the one pictured! Just order another or return it! Easy peasy."

(April 28, 2013)
"Im 5'10 and 120 pounds and the s/m fits perfectly! The Urban Renewal line is risky put it pays off in the end most of the time. I have never had a bad experience with it"

Best Gamble I've Made in a While..

(April 26, 2013)
"At first, I was hesitant about buying this because I'm 5'3 and 145lbs and I was afraid that I was going to get a Medium instead of Large since I ordered a M/L.. but the funny thing is I actually received a Medium and I was freaking out that it was going to be too small. Well it actually fits pretty good, just a little bit snug around my bum but overall, it looks good. also it looks even better in person than the one on the model. so i'm pretty stoked with this purchase."

Risk Paid Off!

(April 25, 2013)
"I wouldn't recommend ordering urban renewal stuff online because you never know what you will get, but I got really lucky with this one! I'm 5'1" and 170 lbs. and I was really, really worried the M/L was going to be too small but it's actually perfect, which is a relief. I wanted to write a review so that if someone else shaped like me is having their doubts, I would say go for it because there's a chance you'll get lucky like I did!!"

LOVE IT

(April 19, 2013)
"With all the negative reviews, I was expecting that this purchase was going to have to go back to the store but I was completely wrong. Absolutely love it. It looks identical to the picture. It's not too short or too small/too big. I'm 5'3 and 110. It's absolutely perfect."

my favorite dress but not to order online

(April 8, 2013)
"I love love love this item its really easy and comfy! I ordered this online in a M/L it was way too big. Do NOT order this because they are all different and made differently so you should try them all because all the sizes are different. other then that great in every other way"

Love it! :)

(March 20, 2013)
"I made this purchase expecting the worst. I didn't want to get my hopes up after reading some of the reviews. I was very pleased when the dress arrived. It was a little darker wash than the picture but not by much. The length was perfect as well. I bought the dress intending to wear it at the lake and family cabin as a swim suit cover up this summer. I think it will look really cute with a bandeau style or even retro high waist style swimsuit and some flip flops. Glad I took the chance on this purchase. Also, I'm 5'5 and a curvier build. I'm about 145 lbs and ordered the M/L hoping I would get more of a large. Thankfully it worked out. I'd say take the risk and if it doesn't work out you can always return it. It's definitely worth a try and is fun to see the style that comes and find ways to customize it yourself. :)"

I'm so undecided.

(March 13, 2013)
"I don't know if I want to keep it or return it. I knew it wouldn't be exactly like the one on the model. I ordered it anyway just hoping that I would get one that's at least the same color. But no, it's darker than the one on the model. It's also too big. I'm 5'4 and a size 0. The length is fine."

"Very nice overalls but I recommend going to the store and trying them on because each one is a little different. I tried on multiple size smalls before I found the one that fit right."

Glad I Bought it, But Needs Modification

(March 2, 2013)
"So the dress is nice but I have a few criticisms. One, the wash is kind of ugly and pale, a bit lighter than it looks in the picture, but I'll dye it a few shades. The dress doesn't have some of the cool details that the model's dress has, but is said in the description that each is different so I wasn't too surprised. The main problem I have with this dress is that the skirt is a lot longer than it is in the picture, but I could always cut that. Now that I think about it, this dress is a good base for anyone who wants to apply their own creative touch to it. I think I'll add some patches and stitching. I like how the top folds over so I can change the shirt that's on underneath without taking the entire thing off. There are so many ways to wear it, I really like the versatility."

Great buy!

(February 12, 2013)
"When I ordered this, I was a little skeptical because of the review, I wasn't sure what to expect. When my order came in (2 days after purchase), I was soo relieved and happy about my order. It looked exactly like the picture (color, ect). I was also happy about the length, because i wasn't sure if i would be able to wear this to school. It touched my knees. I was also happy that is was baggy like I expected it to be. Btw Im 5' 3", 125 lbs and curvy. I would recommend this ."

Way too small

(February 11, 2013)
"I'm so disappointed. I was so excited for this to come in the mail, but it was so small I could barely get it over my butt. I ordered a medium/large and it looked like it was made for someone who's 90 pounds. Defiantly not what I thought it would be. There is no way I would ever be able to fit into it. So sad I have to send it back."

Definitely not for everyone!

(February 9, 2013)
"I was super excited when this came in the mail because I was dying for a cute dunagree/overall type thing and was a little disappointed. I bought the blue denim in s/m. Though the overalls looked great and fit me, it didn't actually suit me all too well. I personally think these are for a certain type of build and I'm certainly not one of them. I'm 105lbs, 5'8 with a really small waist though I have a biggish butt (it's just a bit out of proportion with my small build). When I put it on I was really upset to find it did not flatter my figure all all. Though I tried styling it a couple of different ways that worked for me. I tied this knit sweater over my waist/hips that really helped as well as wearing a coat to cover my unshapelyness and it made it look so much better. So that's a tip for those who don't quite want to return but don't know how to wear it because I really love it but chances are I'll only be wearing it in the colder months."
