"First time i wore it i got a lot of compliments! it's different! i got the s/m and it's just long enough and it's made thick enough that if you're not very busty you don't have to wear a bra; it's soft and very well made, mine is a navy with yellow plaid"

Not what you expect.

"I know urban renewal takes vintage-y things or whatever and makes them into something else. So your not really sure what you'll get. I ordered "black" in a m/l. I ended up getting a red flannel, with little faux pockets, i like the colors so i dont plan on returning but it could have been worse so overal im happy. Also im usually a small in clothing so i ordered a size up to get a large fit to wear with leggings and such. but this flannel is a small "medium" i'd say. It'll probably shrink in the washer and i def wont be wearing it with leggings cause its a bit too short but HEY still cute."

"I had order this top in the grayish flannel print; the shirt that came in was this putrid brown-flannel. Granted I can still make it work, but the wrong print came and the flannel is not remotely close in pattern or color. Also its super big. I'm 5'7", 145 pounds with a 34DD so I figured I would need the M/L size with my chest, but no its huge. I was really excited for this shirt to come, but the delivery was a let down not going to lie."

"I could not wait to receive this shirt in the mail because I was excited to see what my shirt would look like. I ordered a S/M in the light colors. The shirt I received was a nice white/navy blue combination. A lot of people are complaining about the color of their shirts, but I'm very happy with mine. I really like the fit, my shirt fits me like the shirt fits the model in the pictures. It's loose but not too loose. I am 5'3", and the length hits right below my rear, which I personally like. It looks great with leggings and jeans.
You have to keep an open mind when ordering these shirts because you are not getting exactly what's pictured...it even says so in the description! I wish I would have ordered more because the shirt is really unique."

WAY TO BIG

"I ordered a s/m, I am 5'7" 125lbs. It came HUGE. I am reluctant to take it back because i do like the colors. I have to tie it and roll up the sleeves to even make it work. They need to fix the sizing on these shirts immediately. There's a difference between oversized fit and just too big."

"I thought this was going to be a cute grey flannel with a different back, so I got the s/m , but I ended up with a grey and green flannel in a size medium that is maybe 3 inches above my knees (I'm 5'2). Overall, the shirt was to big in lenth and width and I coulndt find anything to wear it with."

"Many of the other reviews are bad but I absolutely love this shirt and am thinking about getting a second one. You have to know it is Urban RENEWAL so the colors arent going to be what you expect. I have gotten many compliments on my shirt and its a unique twist to the classic flannel with the back cut out. Its perfect to wear with leggings and boots for a casual day."

"I'm 5'1, petite. I ordered the gray and black one but they gave me some random blue and black one that I didn't like it at all. The colors were also faded and the material looked dirty. So big it looked like a dress on me. The sleeves were way too long. I tried to roll it up but it just looked like I was wearing one of my boyfriend's shirt or something. Going to return"

"im so sick of trying to order and get the right shirt, ive tried twice to get a shirt that is remotely close to the one in the picture. this time when i ordered the blue one, which in the picture is mostly red with some blue. i got blue and YELLOW, how the heck is that even close! do not order this shirt unless you like bad surprises!"

"since its a random color..so its either you will love it or hate it. i ordered white and green/white colored shirts came. i dont like mine..but..decided to keep them. i like the shape and all, but its too big and i dont really like the color. dont expect too much! thats all i can say."

Drowning in my Grandpa's Shirt

"I was really excited about this purchase. One thing I love about Urban Renewal is you never know what you are going to get. I was super excited to see the coloring of the shirt when I got it. The shirt was a perfect mix of red, white, blue, and green, but when I put it on I was less than thrilled. I'm 5'9" 147llbs and have 36C bust. I ordered a M/L because that was all that was left in stock. Sadly, M/L was an understatement. The shirt was huge! Like, size XL in mens huge. I wasn't ready to give up quite yet though, i tried it with leggings and a belt, which kind of worked, but the way it gathered in the back looked funny. This one has to go back to the store. Brilliant idea, just much too big."

You are NOT getting what is in the picture!!!

"I ordered the black cut out!!! So excited to get it in the mail!! Well UPS arrives... I can't wait to tear it open and see this gorgeous flannel featured in the picture...not only was it not Black and grey...(It was green and blue) It looked like something my father would wear( and the small medium was huge) I am rather slim at 110 and 5'7...but the fit is wide and horrible. I had to go return it to the store where they totally understood how deceiving this is. You have to read the small print. They"custom" make a shirt for you...so you have NO IDEA what they will be sending you! Please don't fall for this like I did...I am trying to save someone else the trouble!!"
