"I only ordered one of this bag so i was nervous about whether it would be nice after reading the reviews but the bag I received was almost identical to the one in the picture and had a hang tag. Its great quality but beware this bag is very heavy without anything in it.

"I read the description, and it said the items will VARY from whats pictured. Urban renewal products always vary from whats pictured. Oddly, I got the exact one pictured. Mine did not have the coach hang tag but inside is the imprinted coach logo so I know its real. Anyways, as long as you know it is going to vary and are willing to play the odds, this bag is totally worth it. Like worth every penny. The bag is such good quality and will last forever. Just go for it."

"I havent actually bought this, but if you are thinking about it, don't base it solely on the comments. These people clearly don't understand that urban renewal items are unique so what you see may not be what you get, but in more situations than one, urban renewal aims to please and does not miss. So future reference: urban renewal items are all different, but bear in resemblance to the display item"

"The thing about this brand is EVERY item will be completely different. Knowing this I ordered 3 purses right away so I could have options. The first was a leather coach backpack and looked nothing like the picture. The second was a cross body purse similar to the picture but much smaller and the flap did not have a buckle, instead it had a magnet. Neither of the first 2 had coach hang tags. Finally, the third is almost identical to the one pictured and has a coach hang tag. It is slightly bigger looking than the one pictured but is a cute square vintage briefcase style purse. It is made of wonderful thick quality leather and the metal is durable and quality (vintage coloured metal). For the price you get a quality leather coach purse so its a great buy assuming you receive one you like. It's luck of the draw really."

"I ordered 4 --- yes 4--- because I knew they would be all different. I was hoping to receive the one pictured... and I did but it was the 4th bag I ordered. The first 2 I received were identical. One was stained {ew} and one was ripped and no coach hang tag. The 3rd one I got was a larger messenger bag with a huge stain {ew}, and no coach hang tag. I thought I'd try one more time, and voila --- got the bag pictured. Not bad condition... no stains... no rips... cleaner than the other ones I received. I'm keeping this one. When you order Urban Renewal stuff there is definitely a chance you won't like it so I always order more than one to give myself a choice!"

"I ordered the rectangular-shaped bag with the handle on top, and expected to receive a cute bag in the mail. What I got was a bag that looked NOTHING like the product displayed online. I received a large, bulgy bag, that didn't even have a handle. I'm definitely returning it!"

Pretty Good, But Not Perfect

"I think the nature of vintage lots is that the items vary slightly in style and size. The bag I received is quite different than the one pictured. Don't expect to receive exactly the bag in the photo. I believe that's the previous reviewer's complaint as well. If you want that kind of experience steer clear of vintage items.
The bag I received is of the highest quality. The leather is thick and looks expensive. The hardware is heavy, interesting, and robust. It may not be exactly what is pictured, but it's a great purse and I'll gladly carry it around Chicago this fall and winter.
My advice is to jump on the opportunity to have one of these vintage bags. Between it's high quality and timeless style, it will be in your wardrobe probably forever."
