Great looking chair but poor quality

"I have to agree with a couple of the other reviews. When I first received the chair and ottoman the first thing I thought was how small both looked. I am 5'9" 170lbs and I couldn't imagine how anyone bigger would look in the chair. Definitely not a chair you would nestle into.
Secondly, I've had the chair for less than five months and one of the legs broke off after I tried to tighten the leg. That was another problem - the legs would constantly become loose so I would have to re-tighten the legs periodically. Now I have to figure out if it is worth fixing after I have already spent all of this money on it.
The chair itself looked very cool and I wish it would have worked out. Alas the quality is just unacceptable."

Poor Quality

"Do NOT buy this chair if you intend to sit on it. It's so pretty to look at but the construction is extremely poor. I've sat on it for no more than 10 times (I'm 105lb) and one of the legs has already collapsed. It makes me really mad because this chair works so perfectly with everything else I have at home. Quality does matter if you are spending this much money. :("

Cheaply Made

"I have had this chair for only 2 months, and one of the legs broke off while I was sitting in it. (I weigh 120 lbs., so I shouldn't have been too heavy for it.) The particle board crumbled away around the leg, leaving a gap too big to put the leg back into. I'm going to have to cut the upholstery away and fix it. For the price it should be more sturdy. It's a shame, too, because it's a super cute chair and many people complimented it."

"This chair arrived promptly within 3 days of ordering in a box which was quite damaged. Luckily when I opened the box, the chair was in pristine condition. It was super easy to assemble and for the incredibly reasonable price, it was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend it with the footstool. Super chic and mod!"

"I saw this chair online and fell in love with it. The chair arrived not even a week after I ordered it - I was so impressed!
The box it came in was in rough shape, but the chair was unaffected - still in great condition!
It's firm, but comfortable - perfect for a reading nook in my apartment. Did not order the matching ottoman yet, but I think it'll be my next purchase!"

"Cute, super easy to assemble and only 30 lbs. (in case you have to get it delivered to work cause you live in an apartment building like me) Wish it would have been a little cheaper, but I also wish cookies were calorie free."

Adorable Chair - FAST Shipping

"We just bought this chair in Gray and received it about two days later. We LOVE it. I would give it five stars but it's a little stiff and the cushion is a bit too thin to be super comfortable. It is however quite adorable and fits perfectly in our mid-century modern living room. I think we might buy a second. The shipping was also EXTREMELY quick. Easy to put together as well. Just screw in four legs and you're done."

Great little chair!

"I fell in love with this chair months ago and wanted it for my house that I was getting. I purchased it early because I saw that it was backordered. I waited three months for the chair, but it was worth it.
When I got it, the box was mutilated and I was afraid that the chair was ruined. Lucky for me, I pulled it out of the box and it was great! A good burnt mustard yellow and the fabric looks expensive and vintage. It took about 5 minutes to put together, the legs are a little wobbly and that is the only reason that I will not give it a 5. This chair is also very firm, so if this is more for relaxing I would go with something else.
My other fear with the chair was that it would be too small. It is a little short, but it doesn't look like a chair for kids.
I am so happy with this purchase. It really adds a vintage/Mad Men feel to the room.
I ordered the ottoman to go with and that was also an easy build and they both look awesome. I have gotten so many compliments!"
