Cheap Fabric

(January 22, 2013)
"It's completely destroyed after only wearing once.
It was ripped when I got it in a very inconspicuous spot on the sleeve, that i didn't even see before I put it on. Therefore i couldn't even return it....what a sad waste of money. Very disappointed.

Ripped on first wear

(January 10, 2013)
"I opened my package and tried it on, and within three hours there was already a rip in it. I sewed it back up and it's fine now, but the material is very fine and seems like it would just shread if someone pulled it too hard."

Cheap Fabric, Cute Design

(January 9, 2013)
"I loved this dress in army green & waited to buy it till it went on sale. The first time I wore it, it ripped along the seam next to the buttons within the first hour. Super embarrassing way to start out a Saturday night. I exchanged it right away, but have been kind of afraid to wear it again for fear the same thing will happen. It's a cute design and looks good on, but beware the cheap-o fabric."

So so cute (:

(January 9, 2013)
"I'm usually really hesitant about buying dresses online because I have such contrasting measurements (36DD, 29" waist, 38" hips, 5'6 tall) but this fits perfectly. I bought a large and the dress is exactly what I was hoping. The top part is large enough that my chest isn't making the buttons gape, and the elastic waist band is at the exact placement of my waist. It's short, but not so short that you can't wear it (it looks just like it does on the model), but if you're a little more conservative about dress length it's easy enough to wear some thick tights under it. The material is really silky, a little thin but nothing unusual. It's definitely worth buying"

Super cute and versatile

(January 4, 2013)
"I got the bluish-purple color in an XS (4'10" 105#). I usually get a XS-S, but I sized down because I was afraid the top portion may look too baggy on me. The size is perfect and the length was above my knees if I didn't pull the dress all the way down and have it cinched at the waist. The dress is really cute with leggings and boots and can be worn in the spring alone as a simple shirt-dress. The quality isn't so great as there were strings coming off of it, but for the price it's a steal. Loved it so much that I got the red color too."

cute, but oddly cut

(January 3, 2013)
"I got this in a small olive, and the color was perfect, but the fit was really weird. It fit my waist fine, but it was so tight on my hips I could scarcely move and there were gaps between the lower buttons. Also, it was very short, which I didn't mind because I was planning on wearing it over leggings anyway, but considering that I'm only five feet tall, it's evidently a lot shorter than taller buyers might prefer. I'm exchanging it for a medium, and i hope that one will fit better."

Runs Large

(December 31, 2012)
"I'm 5'3" and 100 lbs, and I ordered a small, assuming this would be a little big on me in a medium. When I tried it on, however, it was huge - it went down past my knees and was very baggy. I ended up returning it. The dress is cute, but would probably fit better on taller people."

Very happy (read description)

(December 25, 2012)
"I am very pleased with this buy although its a bit baggy on me because I have a very petite body. I think this is very cute and disagree with all the disclaimer review's . If you really like it and have the money I would defiantly advise you to purchase it!"

moderately regrettable purchase

(December 16, 2012)
"I bought this in red before it went on sale. The shoulders are cut in a way that makes me look unusually broad, which is very decidedly a bad look for any girl. The quality of the fabric is so-so and the fit is too. I've thrown out/lost my receipt, so I am stuck with it. Hopefully this will look better on me with a cardigan thrown over or something!"

Cheaply Made

(December 15, 2012)
"I bought this dress in the green XS. Though the XS fit, the first time I wore it I noticed a small tear on the seam between the buttons and the dress (It wasn't ripped when I bought it). As the day progressed the tear grew larger and larger until the rip was completely down the dress. I exchanged it for the same dress easily. Hopefully it won't rip again."

It is what the price is

(December 4, 2012)
"This dress/shirt looks great and the colors are rich (I have purple and love the color), but it is cheap. I didn't have issues with it ripping the way other reviewers did, but there was a little tear where the sleeves roll up. Easily hide-able, so I don't care as long as other holes don't develop. The fit was great --works with or without a belt. It's long enough for me to wear with leggings but probably not with bare legs in summer (I'm 5'8, 125, and size Small fits great). No regrets on buying it yet!"

Beautiful dress!

(November 18, 2012)
"I bought this dress in stores in the green color. I'm 5'6" with 32-24-34 measurements, and the S was perfect on me. The waist cinches at the perfect place on my waist and gives me curves where there aren't many (a VERY good thing). The material is not see-through and it looks gorgeous with a brown belt and brown combat boots. However, I will agree with the other reviewers that the material isn't super high-quality... I'm sort of scared I'm gonna rip it whenever I raise my arms up, because it's a lil' tight at the shoulders. However, the dress is beautiful and definitely worth it with the sale. I would, however, size up.
I also noticed that the blue color is a lot more blue than is shown in the picture (just for reference)."

This dress is not well made

(November 2, 2012)
"I tried this dress on, and even though I wasn't expecting much (based on the other reviews), I was still surprised at how cheap this dress feels. The material is uncomfortable (for me) and just felt really cheap. The dress is also a little too short, so that I couldn't lift my arms or sit down without it riding an inch or two up. I'm 5'3, 115 lbs, and have a curvy figure. The small was too short but the top fit ok, and the medium was too baggy on top, making me look top-heavy. I was looking forward to purchasing a nice shirt dress, but this definitely isn't the one."

Not so great.

(October 18, 2012)
"I loved this dress when I went to the store and tried it on. It is super cute and I received tons of compliments after wearing it for 30 minutes, but then it tore in two spots. I decided to return it and try again with another one, but it tore as well in the same two spots within 1 hour of wearing it. It is soft, wonderful material, but just too thin. If you're still in love and need to have it, just unbutton the bottom button for sitting down and in general so that maybe it won't tear. I wore a medium and it fit perfectly. For reference, I am 5'5" and 130 lbs with a 34B."

small.

(October 5, 2012)
"I'm a bigger girl, but often times can fit into the size large at UO. Not the case with this dress. the top part fit, but the skirt underneath the elastic waist band (no belt included) was too tight. my fault - not the dress.
i ordered the red and thought it was beautiful. I have another shirt in the same fabric, so i knew what to expect and liked aspect."

RIPPED FIRST TIME I WORE IT!

(September 11, 2012)
"Cute design. Liked the color (got the army green). Sort of a cheap looking fabric, but didn't mind until it ripped the first time I wore it! And not even at a seam, the fabric was just so cheap and flimsy that the fabric itself ripped right in the middle of the top! Needless to say, I am returning it."

Sophisticated

(August 23, 2012)
"5'4", 100lb, 32A bust, XS Olive
The dress does not come with a belt. Also the texture is not exactly "silky smooth," it actually has a sort of extremely fine velvety feel--it is hard to explain but it is definitely not unpleasant. In fact, the fabric is very soft, and the dress is extremely comfortable. This makes the dress perfect for not just spring and summer but also fall and winter. The elastic cinches in at the waist and the dress is light. For me, the dress seemed to poof a little too much above where it is cinched, so next time I think I would try on a S instead so that the dress is looser and cinches a tad below my actual waist (this of course will depend on your body type). I can wear any sort of bra without worrying about it being seen through the fabric. Very sophisticated, versatile, and gorgeous color.

Love It

(August 22, 2012)
"It is sooo comfy and I love the color sooo much! It is a bit short though but you cant really size down or it wont fit in general so just be prepared to have to wear tights or leggings with it!"
