"When i first got these boots (in brown) i wore them with flares and tucked them in... bad idea. I had blisters all up my legs. I also found that they make my feet look disproportionately big compared to the rest of my body. Other than that they're super cute and go with anything! and comfy once worn in. I'm usually a 7 1/2 but i got an 8 and they fit good. I suggest sizing up 1/2 size especially if you want to wear socks with them."

"I've been looking FOREVER for a great pair of black suede boots, and at last I have found them, my lovelies! It's so weird that most of these reviews say they run small, when I find them VERY TRUE TO SIZE. Unless you have a wide foot or a wide calf of course. Iono, I'm a genuine size 8 and they slipped on no problemo, they're even the perfect amount of slouchy around my calves. They're comfortable, good quality, the black is a true black, I even love the worn detailing on the toe and heel. SO in conclusion, if you have average/skinny feet and thin calves, do not hesitate on these, I repeat, DO NOT HESITATE!"

Great Looking Boot For Low Price

"I've been waiting for UO to sell a simple but modern looking boot for years now. When I saw the low price I thought this boot might be too cheaply made but I ordered them just to see them in person and try them on. Well, I loved them. I ordered a half size up and feared it would still be too slim (from reading other reviews) but no, my foot went right in and fit so cool and snug over my jeans. I was also pleased with the dark black dye. Many suede boots have a grayish old-looking undertone when you run your hand across the material. Also, they already have a broken-in feel, which is great. The rugged look on the tip bothered me slightly but as most suede shoe wearers know--the toe area ALWAYS gets and looks scuffed eventually. Bottomline: Great rugged looking boot to pair with riding jackets or even fancy blouses."

"I ordered a half size up after reading all the reviews. Even with thin socks on, I couldn't get my foot passed the bend at the ankle. Very disappointed and returned them immediately."

"Received the boots today (that was fast) in black and they are great and very comfortable. They have that rugged look in the front... I do recommend to get a 1/2 size bigger which I always do in boots anyways. They slip on/off easily and look great on and for the price (a steal) $24.99 (on sale) for an $80.00 suede boot. :) A Must Buy!!!! Hope this helped."

"Ordered these in the taupe for $39.99 (awesome deal) and in the black for $59.99. Both in my size, an 8.5, and they both were too small. Definitely not true to size, and I am returning for a half size up. I could not get my feet fully in either pair with or without socks. Definitely no beuno. Beautiful boot though. The taupe was a little funny with the roughness on the toe, and the color was not for everyday wear (not super matchy matchy as black because it's so easy to match black). I am really looking forward for my size 9 black pair to come in the mail."

"Just got these today in grey - size 9. They seem true to size though extremely difficult to get on due to no zipper. I have a narrow foot and skinny calves but I could see it would definitely be a problem for some people. I didn't even bother trying on the second boot because the first one had a piece inside the back (I guess it's the stiff heel cap) that absolutely dug into my heel. I put my hand inside and yes it was like a sharp edge sticking out :( Maybe I just got a bad pair? The boot looks great, for what it's worth."

"I bought these boots online in black, and I fell in love instantly. They fit true to size, are so easy to wear, and can be dressed up or down! Breaking them in originally hurt a little bit, but nothing a few band aids can't fix. My only issue is that they cant get smudges on them easily because they are made of suede, so be careful."

A cute and versatile boot!

"I ordered these last week in Black and Maroon because I couldn't decide between the two colors. When they arrived I tried them on immediately and do agree with other reviewers that the boot is a little snug around the toe/foot area but I don't mind it much as I'm sure it'll stretch a little with wear. I haven't worn them out yet so not sure if they're painful to walk in, I'm hoping not. I'm about 5'2" and the shaft comes up to right below my knee which isn't too bad as I'm short and try not to get boots that are too high which would make me look shorter. As for the shaft width, it's not too wide or thin for me, in my opinion it's just right. Skinny jeans, leggings, and tights will fit fine in them. The shaft isn't too stiff or slouchy. My only problem is deciding which color to keep, I might end up keeping both! Hope this helps!"

"I tried to find that kind of boots for a long time. I was a little bit nervous, because ordered it from Czech Republic, and after all reviews about size I was n't sure at all. I was pleasantly surprised - they are perfect - exectly what I wanted! My size now is between 6 and 6,5, I ordered 6 and feel very well! I have to say - it's the most comfortable boots I bought for the last time."

"Boot fits true to size. The outsole is soft suede and the insole feels like plastic. It's moderately comfortable, but does not compare to higher-end boots that cost double. It looks cute on and is easy to get on and off even though it's a pull-on design."

"I've been searching for a pair of long brown boots for months and these fit the description! The fit is pretty good and style is very nice, but the best part is the price...they were on sale for $40, with an extra 50% off sale shoes. My jaw dropped, got my dream boots for $20! Love Urban Outfitters and they're amazing sales!"

"I don't understand all the reviews about the boots running small or being too tight. I ordered my normal size (6) and they are pretty big. Feels like a 7. But I love the color and (brown/tan) and they don't come any smaller so I am keeping them and wearing a thick sock! Maybe sole inserts too..."

"Got these yesterday in the maroon color. Tried them on and fell in love! They are perfect. The 7 is a little big since I am a 6.5, but with a sock they were just right. The maroon color is so pretty. I am soo happy I ordered them, and might get them in another color :)"

"I got these for Christmas, and they're really wonderful boots. I have the cognac color, and they're beautiful. If you have a wide foot, do not order them though. They run tighter, which can prose a problem if you have a wider foot. I'd say they also run about a half size smaller, so order up if you're worried they'll be too tight. The suede is great, and they match everything!"

"These boots are so great I just purchased my second pair. The first I received as a gift in Maroon, and I fell in love when I saw them. The color is beautiful and unique and a little more red-violet than pictured. I have a narrow foot and the snugness that the other reviews mentioned was not really an issue. They fit great in the calf - I don't have twig legs so there were no issues with them "falling down" or folding. Just ordered Taupe (on sale!) and am excited to wear them out!"
