Lovely sweater
(May 15, 2013)
"I was so excited when I got this in the mail. It's so soft and warm and gorgeous and ugh I wish it was fall already so I can wear it out. I couldn't decide what size to get for the longest time based on the reviews but I ended up getting an S in the cream colour when the XS went out of stock. I'm glad I did so, because the elbow patches hit at just the right spot and the length is perfect. For reference I'm 5 ft 4 in, 105 pounds, waist is 25.5 in, and my bra size is 32D. On the side note, I asked one of the staff members at UO what size the model is wearing and she's wearing a size bigger (Medium) than her usual so I suppose if you want a looser fit you should size up. Also, other people have mentioned the orange flecks on the sweater; personally, I like them because it gives the sweater a bit of personality (frankly it'd be quite boring if it was just a plain cream colour). At the same time, they're quite subtle so I don't think they'd be a huge problem."

lovely!
(May 15, 2013)
"I picked this sweater out in a Medium, hoping that it would be too big. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs, and it was just as I'd imagined. The neckline is wide, which makes it look a little funny with a t-shirt underneath, but it's nice with a button-down shirt or tank top. The only thing it has stretched out so that unless I hold it or pin it back there are funny pleats that stick out in the front."

Perfect for winter!
(May 7, 2013)
"First off, I had to have this jumper because of the elbow patches. The material is extremely soft and its a nice, thick, sturdy knit, unlike the flimsy loose knits you usually get. I'm 5'2 and I got the XS and it fits perfectly, perfect length, elbow patches in the right place, not too baggy, not too tight. The elbow patches are in a suede-y material which feel very nice and soft. The ivory colour has little flecks of orange which I actually love! I wish I had the money to buy this in every colour imaginable! So happy with this purchase!"

Hmmm.
(May 1, 2013)
"Idk, it fits me a bit boxy and makes me look a little bigger but the style is so cute I'm keeping it anyway. I feel like my larger chest is part or the problem so wearing a bandeau kinda keeps the flaring out to a minimum. I'm 5'2, and around 110lbs, xs is oversized but I'm not drowning in it. Also the ivory is true to color.
Knocked a star off for fit, but overall it's a really cute sweater and I would recommend, especially with the sale price."

Review 5 for Coincidence & Chance Flecked Elbow Patch Sweater
"I've had my eye on this sweater for MONTHS but just couldn't justify spending over $60 for one article of clothing. When it went on sale, I pounced. I purchased the ivory in a size M (I'm 5' 3", 36C, 27" waist) for $36. Like the other reviews say, the sweater is extremely oversized. I think a Small would have fit fine. The Medium goes past my crotch, almost like a sweater dress. The elbow patches are smooth and are placed just right, unless I bend my arm, then they'll ride up. The ivory cotton is flecked with orange bits all over; it kind of looks like Cheeto dust but I guess it adds a little somethin' somethin' to what would otherwise be a plain ol' sweater. I saw this sweater in-store in green and purple for $29.99 but alas, they didn't have my size. So if you guys want to check it out... you should! It's an incredibly classy, comfortable, and warm sweater even if it's a bit pricey."

"Beautiful sweater. Keeps you warm. Nice loose fit. Extremely comfortable. And every color is beautiful. Got it in the navy and ivory and they are both amazing. Have worn to school, work, and on an airplane, amazingly comfortable. Also long enough to wear with leggings (I am 5'4). Just get it!"

Worth the Price!But...
(April 16, 2013)
"I own 2 colors: the olive and yellow one. This sweater matches perfectly with legging and UGG. However size S seems to be quiet big for me. It covers 3/4 of my butt. I'm 5"25, btw. I would recommend to buy XS if you have the same height as me and want it fits like the model. I both have them in size S. Maybe I should put it on the dry machine to shrink it a little bit lol. Hope it works."

Not for long arms.
(April 15, 2013)
"I am 6'0 tall, so I come with some pretty long limbs. It isn't really UO's fault, which is why this product is still getting 4 stars. I got purple and it's an absolute dream besides the fact the elbow pads rest on my upper arm. It's really soft and it's one of the few sweaters that are cabled with no wool, which I am allergic to. Absolutely beautiful color, and has held up to constant wear and tear. It aso ended up being a bit short on me, so I wear a tank top under it, or I wear it with something high waisted. I suggest a tight fitting mini with tights and boots!"

Perfect winter jumper!
(April 11, 2013)
"This was my first purchase from Urban Outfitters and I was pleasantly suprised! It was even better than I thought it would be. It's good quality material, a tiny bit oversized (which I wanted) and met all of my expectations. I don't recommend hanging this item up in a wardrobe because it looks like it could stretch but other than that it's great. The elbow pads are noticeable but I think their the statement to this very simple piece. I am in between an XS and S, I purchased a S, while I'm happy with my decision I think I would have been equally as happy with a XS but no regrets :)"

Love it.
(April 9, 2013)
"Seriously in love with this jumper. I wear it all the time since I've bought it. Even when it's probably a bit too hot. It is honestly so soft and comfortable. (Currently wearing it as I type this)
I got a size S and it is maybe a tad on the large size for me. I'm about 5'3 and slim (size 8/XS) and prefer my jumpers a bit more fitted, but I didn't want the elbow patches to be too high up on me. The S ended up matching up on my elbows perfectly, but again - could have afforded to be a bit more fitted. I wonder if I should have gotten a XS instead, but I still love it so much."

Strong word of warning...
(March 24, 2013)
"I usually wear a size M in most Urban Outfitter clothing because I prefer to have clothes that have a little less of a cling to them and length is a huge problem when ordering online because I'm tall. I tend to size up based on on other people's reviews and take special caution when it comes to layering pieces. With that being said, I have a black one in L and a burgundy/purple one is an XS. The black is huge and I've learned to style it to make sure it doesn't appear as though I'm drowning it it. The arms fit well in it but the torso part becomes more and more billow-y as the day progresses. I saw the burgundy/purple one in store and it looked no different on the hanger than the sizes of clothing I typically order from Urban. I am definitely no XS but it fit well. The elbow patches fell where the should be, the length was on par with where it should, and it was just fitted enough. Try to gauge what level of fitted-ness you're looking for because as you can see, these run very large!!"

Good sweater
(March 23, 2013)
"I waited for this sweater to go on sale but decided to splurge on it anyways since there were so many positive reviews. The sweater is made out of really soft material and the green color goes great with leggings. It isn't terribly flattering and makes me look chunky but if you're looking for comfort then this is absolutely perfect"

Review 18 for Coincidence & Chance Flecked Elbow Patch Sweater
"I just got the black one I ordered and now understood why this item is so popular.
Love the size and weight of the yarn, the way it is knitted (not too loose and not too tight), the rainbow speckles mixed in, and the generous bodice and perfect arm hole size (not too loose but not too tight).
The shoulder line is droped but not sloppily so. The bodice length is long enough to cover my behind (size S on 5'4"). The wide crew neck is not too wide or too scooped.
The only thing missing is the elbow patch. I got one without the elbow patch!! However, I don't mind because I love the fit and feel of this sweater too much."

Ooh, soft.
(March 13, 2013)
"This sweater is amazing. I love the baggy fit, the softness of the yarn, the warmth, and of course the elbow pads. This sweater is great for curling up with a cup of tea or wearing with skinny jeans to the market. or school. I'm 5'3", 105lbs. and got a small. I would not go any smaller as the sleeve and torso lengths are perfect for me."
