Bad smell

"I was so excited to have this jacket on. I took it out of the bag and Oh My! There was a terrible smell. It smelled like rotten eggs or some sort of bird's poo poo. But i liked the item so much so I decided to wash it up to hoping the smell would go away. Luckily it did.
I think UO should check the integrity of the products they sell before they dispatch them to the customer.
I am aware this was a down jacket with real goose feathers, but I am also familiar with this kind of products. I have bought in the past down jackets from other brands and never had this problem.
Perhaps I just happened to be the unlucky; nevertheless, UO could do better ensuring everything is in place to ensure 100% customer satisfaction."

It's Warm!

"Definitely a bit on the shorter side as pointed out by one review but incredibly warm, as a down jacket should be and very slick looking. The hoodie is detachable (buttons) and the orange is definitely loud - in a good way. I wanted a snugger fit so I went for size S but tried the M out too and length was still an issue. Its missing a sizeable inside pocket which I would've loved to have. I found it quite useful that I didn't seem to need gloves at all in NYC in Dec-Jan simply because my hands were warm and happy enough stuffed in the pockets but that's a personal preference. If being warm is your #1 priority, go for it. But be aware of the length issue."

"Originally I ordered the medium, my usual in jackets from UO, being 5' 11" / slender build. I had to return for the large to get the looser look pictured above. The length is on the shorter side, but it's worth overlooking. Overall it's a well designed jacket and the color looks amazing in person."
