"Okay, ordered this knowing that I'd need to tailor it in some shape or form and I do. After reading the first review posted, I sized down, but I'm unsure whether this was the best thing to do for my type of physique. I'm a curvy girl (and proud of it!) but a bit hippie with a small waist at 36-26-38. I ordered the Small as I'd normally order a Med. The small fit my bust and shoulders perfectly (36C) and hugged my hips and bum. However, it bulged in the back as if I had an air bubble trapped back there. I'm going to take it to a prof tailor as it's a bit more work than I care to take on for myself.
In hindsight, I prob would have ordered a Med (which would have been roomier around my hips but would have drowned my chest) and had the Med tailored. Either way, this blazer is not meant to be fitted, so don't expect that. It's got a boxy vintage cut which works great on slim girls with minimal curves (the picture of the model facing forward, arms at her sides, is most accurate).
I purchased it in-store during their add't 30% off sale ($49.50), so I don't mind paying the extras to get the proper fit as I feel it's more than worth it. I've been looking for an oversized houndstooth print blazer and this is it, so again I don't mind going thru the trouble. The fabric is not spectacular and will prob bead up in places where the arms will naturally rub. Take heed to all that I've posted before your purchase and you shouldn't be disappointed."
"I wanted to love this coat so bad. It runs large. I am 5'5, 120lbs and I got the small and I could of went with the XS with room for a sweater. The material isn't as nice as it looks on the picture either. There are only two buttons on the bottom so the coat opens up. The first night I wore it I had to close the top with a safety pin. I'm not going to return it but I don't think I will wear it much either."
