Good Quality/Too Big

"So I just got them and my immediate response is I can't wait to put them on. I fasten the buckles and realize that my foot is drowning in them. I am exact 9 & 1/2, but the sandals footbed seems to be about an inch too long. They would have been perfect had I gotten a 8.5 or 9. I don't know if the European to US size conversion is off, but I think I'm going to have to send this one back. :.("

They are sharp but look at the gap at the heel.
