"These socks are functional and warm, but after a couple of wears the fabric starts to get fuzzy and lumpy. They look dirty and old after only a few weeks (I wear my thigh highs on the daily, so for casual wear these will be longer lasting) and I will not be buying another pair."

"I have this exact over the knee socks, and i am in love. I got them at the actual urban outfitters store and the only reason why i got them was because the ones i really wanted were on sale ( 2 for 20 ) so i got the these as my second choice, and im glad i did. They are warm and comfortable. I know they are one size only , i am 5'1 and weight about 115 and they fit me perfect and they dont slide down like other ones do . I do, however, recommend to hand wash them, i am pretty sure that is the reason why mine have lasted a while :)"

"These socks are perfect length and never slip, but my pair ripped the first time I wore them! Be careful while wearing them. Also, they're not as thick as people say. I expected a little more warmth from these socks, as I picked them out for walking around campus.

"So I purchased these socks hoping to be able to stretch them over skinny jeans to give a leg warmer look in my riding boots. They serve this purpose well, however, they're not as "thick" as some other reviewers have noted. They kind of appear to be thick, but realize that they pretty much have mini holes throughout due to the knitting design, so I wouldn't consider these anywhere comparable to the thickness of typical wool socks. I'm nervous that I will develop large holes in the sock at the back of the foot with general wear, but I'm okay with that. They stretch nicely so I really do think these are a one-size-fits-all sock (unlike the cute knee-length socks with three buttons at the top that UO also sells)."

"I purchased these in gray. For me to actually spend $14 on a pair of socks took a lot, but they were just so soft I couldn't resist. I love over the knee socks, I just find them so 60s, so of course I couldn't resist that part either. They look perfect with a black dress and black flats, but I'm sure they would keep your feet warm in a pair of boots too :)"

"These are very soft and stretchy socks. It could be a problem for petite girls. As it is, I have to be careful not to pull them too much when putting them on, or they go too high, even on my very long legs. Tall girls can be confident that these over the knee socks will actually reach over their knees!"
