Great coat!
(February 2, 2013)
"I needed a new coat after wearing out my old one, and I saw this one and instantly fell in love! I'm 5'1" and 120 lbs, and the small is just slightly big on me, but it's no big deal because I tend to wear sweaters underneath. It's made of a really nice, warm material, and I love the empire waist. My only complaint is that the padded shoulders make my shoulders look very broad, especially since I am so short. But overall, this is probably the best coat I've ever owned, and for 60% off it was a steal!"

Wonderful Winter Coat
(January 19, 2013)
"I didn't really have any coats to keep me warm during winter so I decided to purchase this after it went on sale. It keeps me very warm and it fits perfectly. My only critique is that I always find stray hairs all over it. But besides that I love it!"

(January 12, 2013)
"I was really worried this coat was gonna be something that looks great online but in person its a dissapointment but im happy to say it wasnt! Im 5'3 and 100 lbs and ordered the xs based on other reviews and it fits perfect with still enough room to put on a sweater or extra layers underneath. This is such a cute and comfortable coat im happy i got it for such a great price"

Great for wearing with a dress!
(December 31, 2012)
"I really wanted a nice coat to wear with dresses for winter because I don't like wearing coats that are short with dresses. This coat is exactly what I was looking for. I am 5'7" 125 pounds and a small fits perfectly. The buttons seem like they're going to fall off soon so I will probably have to sew those back on, but this has happened to many of my coats over the years so it is not a deal breaker for me. It does not have any super exciting elements to it but I was looking for just a plain long peacoat so it satisfies that requirement perfectly. Unfortunately I bought this before it went on sale so I'm a little ticked off that I paid so much more than the sale price, but I guess that is just a shopping risk you have to take. Definitely buy this coat - especially now this it's on crazy-sale - you will not be disappointed."

Review 7 for Pins and Needles Pleated-Pocket Lady Coat
"This may possibly be one of the best purchases I've made at urban outfitters, for the sale price! It fits awesome and extremely good quality! A peacoat for 60 bucks? Amazing. I'm 5'4 105 lbs and I got the XS ."

Review 8 for Pins and Needles Pleated-Pocket Lady Coat
"When I first got this coat in the mail, I wasn't overly impressed. Since I have slightly broader shoulders from my many years as a competitive swimmer, the gathered shoulders on this coat didn't help. Another thing was that the empire waist seemed just a little TOO high (I do have a long torso, though) and the "skirt" of the coat just a little too wide, proportionally. I understand it's supposed to be a flared coat, but it kind of looked like one of those coats you wear when you want to hide some holiday pounds on your lower half (maybe a good thing? haha). BUT… then I started trying it on with various things and I warmed up to it. The shoulders don't draw THAT much attention, and as long as I leave the coat unbuttoned (I know, not very practical if it's bitterly cold or rainy), then the proportion problem isn't noticeable. The material is EXCELLENT: thick, protective wool that keeps me warm and dry (except for the fact that I leave it unbuttoned), and the sleeves are a good length (I actually roll them back once to free my wrists, but they'd be fine unrolled too). I'm 5'-7/8", 135 lbs, 34B/C, and I got the M. It's a shame I don't like the coat buttoned since it has such a sturdy construction, but it's worked perfectly well unbuttoned so far. I bought it for $100 when it was on sale from $150, and now for $60 I'd say go for it. It's a good works-with-everything, works-in-most-weather coat."
