LOVED IT!!!!

"I bought this in store when it was $30 and they didn't have my size (xs) but they had a medium. I thought w/e, it's a very reasonable price and I needed a cute jacket. It was one of the best purchases ever. I've been wearing it to death. The only complaint is that the sleeves are a little longer on me but that's probably die to the sizing issue. I must stop wearing this in 20 degree weather! BUT, beauty is pain XD I cannot express how much I love this jacket."

"It's a really cute jacket, dont get me wrong. I love the color of it, it may be a little greener than in the picture, but the color is awesome! I was also really happy about the sleeves- I thought they might look cheap and plastic leathery so I was apprehensive, but since I looked at it so many times online i thought "what the heck" and bought it:) the sleeves dont look cheap at all, they actually look somewhat genuine which is also great. I also have no clue what people are talking about with a smell, because mine smelled absolutely fine, if not scentless. I sniffed the sleeves and all over and it smelled fine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because its kind of shapeless (as you can see in the picture) and it makes my shoulders look really broad. maybe my shoulders are just really broad but it somewhat looks like i have shoulder pads in haha, but maybe thats just my body. Also, the zippers keep getting stuck on mine, but i hope after i use them theyll start slipping more and become less stiff. I also think i have long arms because the arms are perfect for me, if not too short. The jacket itself hits my hip bone, but I wouldn't recommend sizing up because i think it would just look like youre wearing a jacket that's a size too big. Yup, I would recommend the jacket, but I dont think it deserves 5 stars- maybe I should've given it 4:)"

"ordered this online in S and it fits perfectly. the faux leather sleeves are really soft and they slip on and off really easily with the additional lining inside. it's lightweight and great for the rainy weather we've been having recently (: if it came with a detachable hoodie it'd be even better.. no problems with the zippers either, they're not scratchy or anything. I was worried about it having a smell after reading the other reviews, but out of the bag I couldn't smell a thing (:
oh, this also gets a lot of compliments ;) if you like it, get it before it's all gone!"

"I ordered this jacket in a size small. I'm around 5' 2'', so I found the sleeves to be a bit long, but the torso length perfect. If you can't tell from the pictures, there are zippers on the sleeves that flare out the cuff opening. I had a skilled seamstress hem the sleeves by over an inch, so the fit is perfect now. If you're short and don't want to go through that trouble, you may want to try this jacket on in a store to see if you're fine with the sleeves bunching up. I just personally didn't like the look without alterations."

"Bought this in store for a great sale price, and Im so happy with it. Id been watching it online for a while. The inside lining is so soft and comfortable. It fits true to size and its warm but not too warm so its perfect for the fall. The outside faux leather on the sleeves is soft ad doesn't look cheap which is something I was initially worried about. I really recommend this. Get it before its gone"

"Perfect jacket! Fits great and very flattering. I recommend going up a size for more length, that's what I did and the fit is perfect. The smell that the other reviewers were talking about isn't too bad, I let the jacket air out for a day or two and I can't even smell it anymore."

"I bought this jacket at full price and i love it! It runs a lil short but if u go up a size it will bring it to the perfect length. ALSO it dosent add bulk when you go a size up like some jackets do. Over all a great struty jacket for the season!"

"I am 5'7" and weigh 160 lbs, with long arms, I purchased a M. The fit was perfect! GREAT FOR AUTUMN! It has a rebel-like, yet feminine feel to it. I can't wait for the colder weather to arrive. But on the other hand, the jacket does come with a odd smell, I wonder if by time it will fade away. I still love this jacket, regardless! A MUST BUY!!!!!"

"I absolutely love how this jacket looks. As the other reviewers have stated, the faux leather sleeves definitely do give off an odor...but it really wasn't too much for me and I feel like I can look past the odor (which I'm sure will fade over time) just because of how awesome this jacket looks. I'm 5'10 and have long arms, and the sleeves on the size medium fit me perfectly. The length of the jacket itself is quite short, but that's just the style its going for. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and am so excited to wear this during the fall!"

Fits like a glove

"I've been searching for a jacket similar to the one offered by Mackage, but the $700 price tag didn't cut it. So when I spotted this on the racks, I had to try it on. And lo and behold, it fit perfectly! The sleeves are a nice faux leather and the stitching it pretty close to perfect so I'm sure dry cleaning won't ruin any of it. The look goes well with some black tights and the popped collar with a high bun if you ask me."

Nice Jacket

"Based on the other reviews of both this jacket and the other leather sleeved jacket from byCorpus, I really was expecting the smell to be unbearable. However, I still decided to check it out in stores anyways because I really love the style and have been looking for a leather sleeved jacket for a while now. Maybe it depends and varies by store, but the jackets on display did not smell that bad at all. I really couldn't even tell unless I directly put my nose to it (and even then, the smell wasn't that bad...just your typical faux leather smelll). I have to say though, the jacket looks a lot better in person and is worth checking out if you are interested. The cut is really nice and the olive brown color really goes with everything. It is a unique piece that I couldn't pass up. The sleeves fit really nice and the body is flattering even though it does fit a bit loose and casual. The only complaint would be that I wish the jacket was a bit longer...The price wasn't too great, but for a nice jacket that will last me for years...It was well worth it, and the jacket doesn't look cheap at all. Overall, check this piece out and do not completely pass it up without seeing/smelling it in person."

"I tried on this jacket in the store and it smelled so badly of mothballs I asked the sales associate about it. The woman at the counter said that they company told the employees to air out the jacket because people were complaining about the mothball smell. i would not buy this. way over priced AND airing it out does nothing. It's too bad because the jacket is adorable."

Smelly Faux Leather

"I've been wanting an army jacket with leather sleeves for months, so I was excited that UO made a version of this jacket.
However, when I picked up the jacket in the store, the faux leather smelled so pungent I didn't want to try it on. I thought about adding my own genuine leather sleeves, but I wasn't impresses with the cotton part of the jacket either. It looked stiff and really faded.
Overall, I think this jacket is overpriced for the quality."
