Guess I lucked out.

"I really dig the pair I got. They have a higher chunky heel but still resemble the look I was going for. The studs are really securely in the shoe. Get them if you are a little flexible and don't mind surprises. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the inside sole was ripped a little. Been wearing them every day since I got 'em."

What a disappointment!!!

"I have not found of rounded toes shoes and that is what I received. They look nothing like the picture. The leather inside the shoe is chipping away and I cannot wear them as my socks are constantly filled with leather. More then embarrassing when taking them off to visit friends. Would have returned them, but the customs, shipping and tax just would not have been worth it."

Not worth the money.

"While I understand the point of Urban Renewal is to take vintage stuff and make it cool, the inside and the sole of mine actually looked worn. Although they looked NOTHING like the picture I was still fairly pleased at the way they look. But then, the size on the package said 9 and the very faded size tag on the inside of the shoe looked like it might say 8 and sure enough, they were pretty snug. Okay, maybe I could deal with all that as long as I didn't wear really thick socks? Oh no, I go to take them off and the heel breaks away from the shoe! I think it's safe to say I was a bit disappointed with these."

"The shoes were brown, and they had studs. That's where the similarity ended. I called urban when I received the shoes, certain they had just sent the wrong pair by accident. But oh no-- these square toed, pleather shoes without laces were the "unique" item I received based on this photo. Horrible mistake. After waiting nearly two MONTHS for these shoes, I returned them the day after they arrived."

"I completely agree with the other reviews, I had the exact same issue. Ordering these shoes was the worst purchase I've ever made! The shoes I received in the mail look absolutely nothing like the pictures on the site, and I mean absolutely nothing. I will be returning them.
Also, I bought a size 9 and they were too small. I have never worn a size 10 in my life so I'm not sure what's going on with that either.. So if you do decide to buy these shoes, for whatever crazy reason, I would recommend buying a size up, especially if you want to wear thick socks for the winter season."

"I guess I should've known better, but i got so excited when I saw the brown pair, I just had to have them. The pair I got was nothing close. They were chunky and had a completely round toe. I've never ordered any 'urban renewal' item before this one, now I know better. ugh."

Be prepared to be disappointed

"The shoes pictured are the ones I wanted. They are perfect. I didn't get these shipped to me because each pair is "unique" and "original" and if you order these planning on getting the one's pictured, think again. The one's I got aren't TOO bad. They're way chunkier, and have a fake sock look built in so when you wear them, you look like you have socks on. Still, I really wanted these, and I was upset upon opening my package. This is a very strange line, because the shoes you order are really a complete surprise to you. Also, they are definitely NOT worth almost $100."
