Totally different colour - buyer beware

"These boots are the perfect size, the shape and style looks great but the COLOUR. It's so different from this picture, this looks like a rich brown colour, the real boots are a sort of browny orange shade - like an oompa loompa with a tan."

"Like someone said above, the picture does not accurately depict the actual color. I read the review and thought it might still be an acceptable shade of brown. But in reality these shoes are very orange. Not bad if that's what you're into, but not my style."

Good value for a house brand

"I bought these at the store for the $49 deal they had. I wished they had these darker brown ones available, but instead there were only the lighter tan color ones. They are pretty stiff and require some breaking-in, and the leather quickly creases and wrinkles, though I think the worn-in look works great with these kinds of boots. I bought some Meltonian Mink Oil to treat the leather first and waterproof it. So far, the $50 for the boots + $5 for the oil, pretty good investment compared to the $100+ you would pay for the Clarks leather types."

"I purchased these for my boyfriend in his normal size 9 and they fit great. They're a little stiff so he'll have to break them in and they look really expensive-really great quality. The only thing is is that the color is oranger than it is shown online. It's more of a burnt sienna, orange/brown, so i was a little disappointed because i was expecting a darker color but it's still really nice. he loves them. great shoe."

"I've had these boots for a little over a year now.
I really like them. For an affordable "house" brand they've held up really well. After a year of wearing them primarily for business casual wear to work, the only issue I have had is the rear heel is separating from the shoe, but some super glue and it was fixed."
