guarantee compliments!
(December 7, 2012)
"I got this backpack on sale, so my expectation on it wasn't very high. The patches are a suede type of a material, the upper portion is a wool material and the rest is canvas. Overall quality is ok/kinda cheap. As far as looks, it looks amazing and will def give you compliments! I'm using this on occasion that doesn't require to carry a lot of books. I won't recommend this item for everyday use esp if you are to carry 5 books in it for it may rip (straps doesn't have the capacity to sustain heavy books everyday). If you have just have a binder and a couple notebooks you will be fine."

I got a defected one...
(August 30, 2012)
"This backpack is very large in depth and also in width which means it has a very large space to stack up books and journals and stuff loosely on the inside. I bought the bag, got my textbooks (4) for my school and put all of them in it no problem and brought them home in my car and then let the backpack sit on the floor til the start of school. Then on the first day, I only had my 17" laptop, a journal, a folder and a small thin textbook inside, and when I came home I noticed that the top handle was almost completely torn on one side. I hope that it was a defect and not just terrible manufacturing, but other than that, the space in the main compartment is humongous, the pocket in the front is kind of small for what it looks like in the picture (I really don't see what more could fit in it except maybe a couple CD's). So you definitely need a pencil back if you're getting this one, and the pocket on the back of the inside is really long horizontally and vertically short so i figure you could hold an iPod or your phone in there. I was afraid to put pencils in there because of the nature of the fabric in the pocket. The laptop sleeve on the actual back pouch of the backpack where your back goes is big enough only for a 15 inch computer I think, so be weary of that. But the look of this thing is just beautiful! I mean it's not the MOST practical, but if you bring this to class, people will compliment it and say how cool it is, unless it rips...It would be really great if I'd already had a pencil bag and had a smaller laptop, but I'd recommend it any day."
