Are these even real leather?!

"The description says that these are real leather but I'm pretty doubtful. They look really cheap and kind of bulge out in the front of my ankle. Definitely not even worth the sale price."

"These boots got scratched so easily. It looks like I've had them for years. The zipper also broke after wearing them about 6 or 7 times, and probably cannot be fixed. Next time I'll definitely splurge to get boots of higher quality. This was honestly a terrible deal."

"I love these boots. I have SUPER skinny calves (I'm 5'8", 115lbs and wear a size 8.5 shoe), so boots rarely fit me properly in the leg. These ones are a little loose but not so much that they look silly with dresses. The leather is good quality and I love the buckle detail so the zipper doesn't catch on tights. Good buy for the price!"

"I am not a big person, but I wear a sz 10. So it's hard to find boots that AREN'T too big in the calves. I read previous reviews claiming the boot was tight in the calves so I figured these would be perfect. WRONG. The only calves these could be tight on are baby cows ! Plus, they rub up and down my heel when I walk across the floor in them, and the foot is quite stiff. Unfortunately, I think it's too late too return them. So much for getting a bargain."

"i think theyre perfect for my size calf. they fit snug but it looks good. anyone who doesnt have tiny calfs should def look into them . tons of compliments on them and ive only worn them like 4 times. be prepared for the zipper to rub on your leg tho thats the only thing that bothers me."

"My ankles are pretty small, so it's really roomy and there's a lot of extra fabric around that area. I suppose my calves are pretty big for my ankles. At first the calf area was tight, but eventually it stretched. Just be very very careful not to get these wet because when the water does dry, it leaves marks. If you wear leg warmers with your boots and they fit just right in the calf area without the leg warmers, the boot will stretch. So don't expect the boot to fit perfectly when you put them on without leg warmers again."

"I really like these boots. I have very, very skinny ankles so they don't fit perfectly in that area however that is not a big deal to me. The black is gorgeous and looks just like a real riding boot with the added zipper in the back. Zipper is a bit stiff at first but also not a huge issue. Seeing as they were only $99, I didn't expect them to be perfect.I would recommend them to you!"

Not worth it

"I am really disappointed in this boot for the price I paid. I have small calves and it's still pretty wide for them. I bought the chocolate color, and it isn't the same as depicted. Creases form in the heels after wearing these because the boot isn't structured very well (see the pics). These boots started looking really cheap and worn pretty quickly. The boots are true to size in the feet."

"I'd been looking for an affordable pair of tan leather boots and when I saw these I had to have them! I love them so much I convinced a friend to buy a pair.
One reviewer mentioned that the zipper bends inwards, however, once you break them in, they're comfortable.
One problem I've experienced with them is that the backing on the tab was just glued on and it's kind of peeled off a little, but it's not that big of a deal for me."

"I got these as an early Christmas gift and they are true to size for me (8). I had no trouble so far with anything. They are stiff but thats not an issue. I got the brown which is really a camel/cognac color. Nice neutral color and I'm thinking about getting the grey ones also."

"i got these in the black in size 8.5. I'm usually a size 8 and sometimes an 8.5 but the 8's were too snug. these shoes are so cute and I love that they appear to not bunch up at the ankles. My only problem with these shoes (and its a big one!) is that the zipper in the back bunches and curves in towards the bottom of my calf and makes it very painful to walk. Hopefuly this will go away over time once they are broken in, but it is a big problem that it looks like others have experienced as well. wear them inside your house for a few hours before deciding to keep them!"

The PERFECT boot

"My boyfriend recently bought these boots for me in black for Christmas. The first few wears you really have to get them broken in (I suggest thick socks and band-aids on the back heal) but one you do, they are so perfect. I usually wear an 8-8.5 and he bought me an 8.5 and the fit is good! They do not look cheap and for 100$ riding boot, it's a steal!"

Love the style but doesn't fit me right

"I'm usually a 6 in boots and these feel a tad big, but nothing some thicker socks can't solve. I adore the style, it doesn't cheap and actually looks like a nice quality boot. Everyone seems to think that these boots are only for slim calves, but maybe it is because I have a very petite build. I'm about 5' 1 and the shaft is too wide for me and too tall. They hit my knee caps so I will be returning these boots unless I find a good cobbler to shorten the boot shaft at a reasonable price."

"I got the black ones the other day at my local UO. I'm usually a 6.5-7. A 7 would've fit me beautifully but sadly they didn't have it in my size, so I got a 7.5. It fits nicely, with extra room for socks. I did have a bit of trouble zipping up the backside (so if you have relatively large calves like me, go and try them on first.) When I did manage to get them on, they looked amazing! I get complements wherever I go. :)"

"It is always hard for me to find the perfect boots for my skinny calfs. I was so excited when I found these boots today. They were original $99 and it was a promotional sale $20 off these boots. It came up to $79 and then I had a $31 gift card. So I only paid $47.13. Boots are expensive and I am so glad I spent less then $50 on leather boots. The look is amazing. The fit is true to size, I am usually a 7-71/2 I went with the 7."

"I first ordered these in a 9 ( the ankle part is quite stiff) it rubbed a blister on my ankle. I decided to go down a size because they are big. My 8 1/2s work perfect and no more rubbing! haven't had a problem with my zipper and I think the look and texture of the leather is really great. They took a little bit of time to break in, but I love them.
P.S. It's also a relief to find a pair of boots to fit my tiny calves!"

"I got these in brown. The camel like color is great. I am a size 6 usually but these boots in a size 6 are too big. They make my feet look large, and I have very small feet. The zipper is VERY rough and hard to get up and down at times. Once they were worn in a bit they worked a little better. The heel enclosure is hard and after wearing them over a week I still have a blister turned scab on my heel. If I wear these boots now I limp because it scrapes against my irritated skin. Thses boots are cute but uncomfortable. Over-priced..should wear better with more ease. I had boots like this last year that were more flattering and less expensive!"

SUPER STIFF AND UNCOMFORTABLE

"OK I never write reviews but these boots are wayyyy too pricey to not love what you're paying for. Yes they are attractive and look "expensive" but here's the deal... you can't wear them. If you can even zip them over pants that's impressive. The calf region of the boots is so incredibly tight and unrealistic. Second, and most importantly- the "leather" is ridiculously stiff YOU CAN"T EVEN MOVE. It's seriously like wearing 2 casts on your legs. Please... don't buy these. Urban should really be refunding everyone on these boots. They are an absolute joke. UGH!"
