Cute but poorly made

"I was absolutely in love with these boots when I first got them. They looked great with anything. However after about a month and a half, both soles cracked in half as someone else on here said. Also the wood on the heels has completely deteriorated. I can't wear them anymore because my feet will get soaked in this wet Wisconsin season. I've had problems with UO shoes before and this guarantees that I will never buy a pair again. Thankfully I got them on sale for only $30 but it is still a huge disappointment. Don't drop $70 on these shoes if you're looking to get more than 2 months wear out of them."

"I bought these boots in both black and taupe and was skeptical based on the reviews, figured I could check them out and if one was workable return the other pair. I ended up falling in love- both are very well made (wear them all the time and have no wear and tear!) and don't suffer any ill effects from winter weather (so far!). The height was perfect on my calf and they flare out a tiny bit, very flattering! I usually wear an 8.5-9, bought 9's just in case, based on the other reviews about tight ankles. I had no problem fitting mine in and they are even a little loose but I just wear thick socks!! Love them, and I am VERY picky about boots and returned an ecote pair earlier this year that I wasn't into. These work with anything- dresses, tights, leggings, jeans, BUY THEM!"

"I really love this boot. i have had my eyes on them for a long time. i got them in the taupe color and it looks pretty much like it does online. I run in a size 8 but got 8.5 because i like to wear thick socks with my boot and the socks and feet fit just fine."

Sole borke in half!

"I purchased these in taupe and loved these boots! They were comfortable and went with everything, but after two months, the sole on the right boot broke in half! That was an awesome half-mile walk home in rainy Seattle weather. Poor, poor craftsmanship... Sure, I got a ton of compliments on them, but $70 is not worth a few weeks of wear."

"I read other reviews, so I was skeptical when I went into the local store to try them on. I WAS SO SURPRISED. They're comfortable with tights, fluffy socks, and nylons. I seriously wear these warm boots everywhere and they have a wooden/plastic sole so you have more support if you live in the city like I do. I paid half price for them due to a boot sale, but if you have to pay full price - they're worth it. They're true to size (I wear an 8.5) and that's what I bought. They look great with my favorite baggy jeans and my favorite cute dresses! I do not leave my house without these babies on because they're supportive, warm, and they look great. I haven't had any issues with them, except now I'm worried about wearing them out and not being able to get another pair in a year or two! I love them! Plenty of space for fluffy socks, your toes, and for your jeans if you want to tuck. They're also very smooth and nice to the touch."

Cute, but wear out really quick

"They fit to true size and are comfortable and very cute! buuuut... they wearout so fast! after a few weeks use the heels had wonrout so much! they are so croocked now. And the sole on the right foot broke in half. The are cute but the qaulity is questionable, think twice about buying this because they will not last until next year."

"I ordered the 10 in black, when i put them on for the first time they were a little hard to get on but having worn them just a few times their already a little looser than I would like in the ankle area and look pretty worn but, the fit is still good true to size and i have enough room for a thicker sock. Also, the boots have a pungent smell almost gasoline like...oh and the black dye comes off on your hands."

"I receIved these today and my first impression was that they are very stylish and look super comfortable, which they are.. they look worn in and over all really cute. I got a size 10 in Taupe and once I got them in, they fit perfect leaving a little extra space for thick socks, but the problem is getting your foot in. The back heel is very hard and I had to literally shove my feet in to get them through... but I'm hoping that it will wear out a little with use and become easier to put on...looking forward to testing them out during winter"

"I had one pair of boots like this before but i lost them so when i bought this i was super duper excited but these run small :/ i usually wear 5.5/6 but i bought 7
it hurts in the back and the smell is pretty strong :/ they have really awkward big opening which i really dont like :/ i think imma just return them :/"

"Just bought these for fall in the light color... a bit different than what is pictured online, the boots are much lighter in person. However, they're still cute and very solid! I've gotten compliments on them already. Definitely would recommend!"

"I love these boots. They are so cute....fit awesome. But they have an awful smell to them. Regretfully had to return them. I could smell them even before I took them out of the box. Thinking about ordering another pair, but would they be any different?"

"I bought these in the taupe, though they look much more grey in person. I am normally a 8-8.5 and had to buy them in a 7! They're very open in the ankle as well so they feel loose when you wear them. But other than sizing concerns they're extremely comfy and great for wearing out"

"These boots are pretty cute and exactly what I was looking for and really just as pictured. So points for that. But I couldn't even get my usual size 6 on my feet! It's weird because I can see that if I could get my foot IN the shoe they would fit perfectly fine, but I just can't get my ankle in the shaft. I sometimes wear size 5 and have weird little twig ankles so I don't even know how this happened but I recommend going at least 1 size up. I'm sending mine back for a 7.
My only other complaint is that the dye clearly rubs off on your hands, clothes, etc. I think only time would fix this problem, i.e. you have to wait until all the excess dye is rubbed off."
