A Positively Charming Buy!

(September 22, 2012)
"Opening this delightfully decorated, hardback book-cross-journal, entitled simply as ‘One Good Deed a Day’, I was beginning to regret buying it as a gift for my best friend’s birthday.
Flipping through them, these charming ‘Good Deeds’ not only flung warm, delightful sunshine into my day, but genuinely inspired me to be creative in showing kindness towards others. Things like “leave your change in the vending machine for the next person”, or “send your Grandparents a photograph” to “leave a book on the seat of the train or bus for the next person to read” and “buy a bunch of balloons and watch the reactions”. On each of the 365 pages there are a few lines offered for reflection and a ‘date of completion’ so you can keep motivating yourself in goodness.
These delightful verses just put a spring in my step and a twinkle in my eye.
And now all this pure, blissfully intoxicating loveliness was getting wrapped up and being handed over to my friend. I had certain feelings of remorse.
So guess what? I went and bought myself a copy just for me!
A personal purchase, or public gift you'll never regret.

Fun

(September 17, 2012)
"Yeah, this is a fun book. I actually am using it as a way to become more conscious of the people around me. Something as small as smiling at a stranger can make you feel good and someone else too! :)"
