Really cute, but size down

"I'm usually a size 27/28 in jeans (depending on the store) but I listened to previous reviewers and sized down to a 26. Luckily, the 26 was perfect (not too tight or loose) and the jean definitely had a skinny fit in all the right places. Then again, I am short (5'2 on a good day) and I have somewhat thick legs, so maybe that's why (along with me sizing down) my pair fit me so well. The only possible complaint I have is that I would have liked these to be a little more narrow around the ankle."

"These jeans do not have the "skinny fit" on the knee~ankle area. They look totally differant and not as seen on pictures :((( The fabric is very thin and stretchy. Very unflattering! I would not recommend these jeans.
I am very disappointed :(((( Shipping to Germany was $30... that is very annoying!"

"I got these jeans for ten bucks on major sale They fit perfectly cause I didn't order them online, I bought them in the store, so I got the right size. Theey're absolutely perfect, the only thing is that the waist isnt' as high as other urban high waisted jeans are."

"I'm from Australia and I find most american brands tend to run bigger than ours. I am usually a 29 in jeans, sometimes a 28 if they run big. I am about 172cm (5' 8"ish) and around 60kgs. I got these in 28/30. They aren't the longest jeans and they are pretty big. I have to wear a belt to hold them up. I considered returning for a 27 (maybe even a 26 because they will strech) but to be honest I'm lazy and they were $20. I'm just going to use them as my comfy hanging out jeans.

awesome jeans, not so awesome fit.

"I love these jeans! I think they are really cute and very hip. I love the design on the side and I received many positive comments while wearing them. I actually waited for these to go on sale because I'm very apprehensive of ordering jeans from urban. It's either a hit or a miss. These would've been a hit, but they run big. I'm normally a 27 in jeans from BDG and this time the 27 was very baggy. I decided against returning them because BDG jeans shrink in the was so I'm hoping that after a couple of washes they will fit perfectly. Other than that, great purchase!"

"i was so excited for these pants, but let me warn you, they look absolutely nothing like they do on the model. she must have gotten them tailored or something cause i am a 25 in BDG jeans, and these are just the most unflattering, baggy, stiff, weird looking ALL AROUND jeans i have ever put on. i am sooooooooooo disappointed :("

Not a Skinny Fit on Ankles

"The embroidered part is very pretty and make these jeans a unique piece... but it is not the "skinny fit" on the knee~ankle area. I think the picture may be misleading. Also, the material was thinner than i thought. I was extremely excited to finally receive this product but I'm returning it. I wish I liked it."

"Please buy if you have thick legs. You will look radiant, bold and beauiful. If you have average ankles, as I do. You will find that these are flare. I am nothing but an average woman, disappointed about my order."

Love these!! but..

"When i first saw these online, I was in love with them and had to have them!! So I begged my mom for them and finally got them for Christmas, i was kinda disappointed at first because they weren't like the photo, they were more of a charcoal greyish color. Unfortunately they fit very well in the waist and thigh area, but from the knees to the ankles they are a lot looser and don't fit like any other bdg cigarette jeans. The model in the photo probably has them pinned back but whatever. I'm still quite happy with them and will be keeping them!!"

"I bought these pants a few months ago. When I received them they were true to the style.. However, these pants are NOT High Waisted. I'm 4'11 and 160lbs and they sit on my hip. Despite this fact, they are still WORTH THE PURCHASE, and I would recommend it to others."

"Love these jeans! The embroidery looks high quality, and the fit is great. I usually get the mid-rise, but I'm liking the high-rise (they arent super high on the waist). Got these on sale for $39 marked down from $70 and they were worth every penny!!
Fit is true to size. Highly recommend!"

"I was waiting for these to be on sale. I snagged them and got them and was happy. I tried them on when they arrived and I was less than satisfied. I ordered a 27 and the waist was fine (I'm 5'2" 120 pounds) but the legs weren't as tapered as the model in the pictures were. I'll just have to wear them with boots or something."

"These are nice but don't fit the same as your typical urbie skinny jeans. They aren't quite as tight in the ankle, are slightly longer, and a little more high rise in a 80s/90s way. But I like that about them. I wore them with a long sweater, black boots, and a beanie."

"When I purchased these I thought they would be a thicker, black denim. These have kindof an inky dark wash - not black. They're too big and not high waisted enough- it's a shame that I'll have to return these.. I really do like the idea of them.."

"I get SO MANY compliments on these jeans. They look really expensive and the embroidery is beautiful.
They were, however, a little large for me. I am 5'6", 120 lbs and got size 26, but they are definitely a bit baggy and wayyy too long. I was expecting them to hit more around the ankle like in the picture but they scrunch up at the bottom. They are also not as high-waisted as the picture shows. This might be because they are too big....I haven't washed them yet so we will see what happens!"

"The design down the leg of the pant is cute but.. they run large. Very baggy.
I dont like them very much as long pants being as baggy as they are, so I may just cut them shorter.

comfortable and cute but not high waisted

"I'm a US size 8, about 5'4" and I got the size 28/30 length and they fit well. The color isn't a soft dark denim as pictured, it's more of a dark denim with a shiny sheen. These pants look good with an oversized tunic or sweater and heels. Definitely worth $39, I'll be keeping these for a while."

"i recived the size 31/30... mine where black a little washed out but defintely NOT blue!... i have to say for the price i got them i am pleased the embrodered side is gorgous....they look expensive.. dont know why every one is hating them, ... but i have yet to try them on i will update.."
