Cute, but beware of point!

"I really like these. I bought them in yellow 7.5. My usual size is an 8 but judging from the other reviews I half-sized down and glad I did. I have other flats from UO in 8's and there's a lil too much space in the heel. I feel after a few wears the 7.5's will break in and fit perfectly. They were a tad bit pointier than expected but I'm totally keeping them. Can't wait to wear them with high rise shorts or a cute sun dress!"

Great flats, but watch the size!

"I wear an 8, sometimes a 7.5 will suffice. The 8 fits great on one foot, small on the other. Could have gotten 8.5 and they may have been more comfy. I ordered online. I have the black ones and I do like them, but going off of other reviews, I thought they'd be big. Buy your normal size at least! They're cute flats."

"Bought these in the light red - as previously mentioned, they are more of a fuchsia, which I am happy with. TTS - I wear a 9 or 9.5 and they fit perfectly. They do make a larger foot look mighty large indeed, so they aren't my go-to shoe if I am wearing skinny jeans. I wear them to work with flared pants, and I like the look of the pointed toe. Plus, you can't beat the price right now!"

"I bought a black pair a little while ago, after a few months of wearing them one of the bottoms came off while walking. It was devastating having to throw them away. Hopefully it was just those specific shoes and not like the others."

"I bought these in black because I needed a par of basic flats. They have a decent tread on the bottom and I think they look pretty classy with the pointed toe. They don't seem durable but I wasn't expecting that. i went with my normal size of an 8 and they fit just fine. I haven't had any rubbing or blisters from them."

"got the orange in the mail!! omg so ugly. im a 7.5-8. got the 8.. they fit extremely HUGE.. and its way too pointy.. im 5'4 and dont want my feet to look bigger... also the orange was alot lighter than in the picture.. have to return.. but oh well :( lol"

"These would be the perfect go to. They look very attractive, the point is good and current, as is the low toe. They need to be a bit higher in the back, not the whole back, just a flare of fabric that sticks up, to hold the ankle there. If the whole back, will create chafing. They also need to be tighter in the inside arch area. This looseness is creating the awful squeak. If these were tighter, like a good leather shoe at first, I am sure folks would complain about that too. I want to return them, but I'll keep them and the squeak will remind me that I got them as a "steal". the 8 is roomy"

"As other reviewers have stated, this is a lovely little basic flat with an elegantly-pointed toe and rich coloration. The "light red" would, perhaps, be better described as "dark pink" (which is what I had hoped for), but I suppose I'll not quibble with UO over semantics. Based on the fact that the previous reviewers seemed divided over the issue of sizing, I opted to order my usual size (7.5): they're the tiniest bit large, but not large enough to exchange. Because I have had them in my possession for less than twenty-four hours, I cannot speak to their durability. However, they seem sturdy and deftly crafted and I expect them to last as long as any other similarly-priced pair of shoes, perhaps longer."

"I got these in taupe in-store, and they fit well and look really nice. The suede looks well-made. The only problem I have with the shoe is that the sole is pretty rigid, I have to wear shoe inserts with these or my feet will hurt. But it was a nice shoe for a good price and it matches with a lot of my clothes."

"Great little pair of shoes - the pointy toe is just enough to make them look a little fancier than just another pair of ballet flats. For me they fit just right. A little tight at first but they have stretched to fit perfectly. I would highly recommend them! I have hardly taken them off since I got them.. which is good because I live in New Zealand and sending stuff back isn't so easy/cheap :) Thanks UO!"

"Love the idea of these shoes. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5, is because the size is a little funky. Its just a smidgen too large, but a smaller size would have been too small. The color is amazing... exactly how its pictured! Overall super happy with these, and would recommend!"

More Pointy Toed Than in Pictures

"I ordered these in 8, Green. They are just slightly darker than I expected, but this doesn't bother me. But there is a little adhesive stain on one of them. I usually wear a 7.5 in shoes and sandals and an 8 in boots, when I want room for thicker socks. However, I ordered an 8 in these, which turns out to have been a good choice. The shoes are more pointy than they look in the picture. I imagine a 7.5 would be a bit binding on my toes. It is also of use to note that the soles of these shoes have almost no tread whatsoever. I expected these to be cheaply made for the price, but I did not expect them to be so pointy toed. I'll wear them, but I doubt they will be as loved as I thought they would be."

Perfect staple flats!

"I love these shoes, they are they perfect flats that pull an outfit together. They do run large, I am generally between a 6 1/2 and a 7 and I decided to size down significantly and purchased the 6 and they fit snug yet comfortably. I bought the black and ivory ones. The ivory is a bit more cream colored but it is beautiful. Both pairs took a few times of wearing to break in but it was nothing majorly painful and they have held up very well. Overall, they are great quality and appearance for the price, my only caution is that they run big and to size down. Otherwise, I highly recommend them!"

"Read a review suggesting to size up or half size up, ended up getting a 7.5 when I'm usually 7 and the shoes are too big! Maybe good with super thick tights but I'd suggest getting your true size."

These run just a TAD bit bigger then your normal size. (i'm a 6, 6 1/2 and the 6's in these fit a bit looser then your average never worn flat) which isnt exactly a terrible thing...not as much breaking in woes for your feet!
The grey ones are a must. perfect neutral color that wont get that dirty or be that bland (like black/white)."

Great pointy flats!

"I have three pairs of these. Black suede, green suede, and the black + white pony hair. I typically wear an 8 in shoes but occasionally take a 7.5 or 8.5 depending on the shoe. The size 8 in these is perfect for me. They seem to be made of quality materials and also appear to be solidly put together. A little more wear will be needed to really test durability.
Take note -- these are POINTY flats. Not so pointy you can stab someone with them, but they are certainly more pointy than an almond or round toe flat. I have slight toe cleavage when I wear them, but this doesn't bother me (I kind of like that look). They look great with pretty much anything and can be dressed up or down easily. Provided you get the right size, there is no weird gapping on the sides even with fairly thin feet. I would say anyone with VERY thin feet might want to consider going down a half (if available) to full size. The pointy toe will give just a little move room than a normal round toe flat. I would NOT recommend that you buy a larger size and compensate with a heel pad -- just go down a size so they stay on your feet properly.
The flats are a little stiff when you first get them, but a lot of leather and suede shoes are. I was able to wear them immediately with no "breaking in" period and no uncomfortable rubbing. They have softened up considerably and will likely get a little softer with a little more time.
My one complaint is the light colored sole. I would have rather had black soles. This is just personal preference though, and it obviously wasn't a huge deal for me since I bought them in 3 colors anyway."
