Gorgeous dress - great for events!

(February 8, 2013)
"I bought this dress to wear to a Christmas work dinner and I got lots of compliments on it. The dress is a little darker in person but not as dark as some other reviews would have you believe. Also i disagree that the dress runs large - I am often in between sizes and bought the smaller of the two but found that the dress bunched oddly around my bust. If you are looking for a dress to go clubbing it this is not it, however if you want a nice, modest but flattering dress for dinner or similar this is perfect :)"

Size Down, Cheap

(December 7, 2012)
"5'9 140 36C/D
I got the medium and it was wayyyy too baggy! Not to mention really cheap looking. Not a cute dress at any price."

Absolutely Horrible!

(December 6, 2012)
"This is by far the worst product I've ever bought from here. The color is a deep red, not a bright red like the one in the picture. I'm 5'8'' and 120 lbs and I bought my usual size M however the dress I received seemed like it could have been a L or even a XL. The elastic was so big on me and when I stood up straight you could see down the back. It's not flattering at all and I will definitely be returning this dress. If you were to buy it I'd recommend going like 2 sizes because an extra small definitely would have fit me."

Bummed

(December 4, 2012)
"Was so excited for this dress to come in the mail! A week later it comes in being a deep red and looking like its not worth what it costs.
Red color looks much more vibrant in photos. The packaging sticker says Red/Rouge, which was not made apparent on website that this would be a deeper red. More importantly, the fabric looks more satiny in photograph and does in fact look cheap in person. Super bummed. Will have to return."

Deceptively Unflattering

(November 27, 2012)
"I read the reviews for this one and foolishly ignored them, thinking the complaints about the fit of this dress wouldn't apply to me since none of the negative reviewers had my body type. I'm 5'11, 34B, 140 lbs., and the size small on me is STILL super baggy around the waist. I tried the dress with a belt, but it just made the fabric bunchy. Needless to say, considering how flattering this dress looks on the model, I was sorely disappointed.
The one nice thing I will say about this dress is that the back looks gorgeous, no matter how unflattering the waist is in front. And I don't think the fabric looks cheap, as some reviewers suggested.

Fit for any classy lady

(November 8, 2012)
"The design is great; it can be made professional with a quick blazer, or it can make a great evening/cocktail dress. I wore this for a formal event, and it worked out fabulously. It's modern and timeless--great investment.
Only thing--finding a bra can be tricky because of the open back and the angles in the front. (I ended up buying a backless sticky-sided bra. If you're smaller in the bust, you could go braless). Just know your undergarment situation before you buy it.
As far as the fit, it's pretty forgiving and indeed flattering for wider shouldered gals. You might consider a belt/ribbon to cinch the waist a little more.
Overall, it's a versatile staple, and is great for an effortlessly classy look.

Hmmm...

(October 11, 2012)
"It fit perfectly fine for me (Medium, 5 ft. 8. 34B)...
Anyways, I wrote this review to recommend people to purchase the dress and try it on if they were iffy about purchasing it, because it seems to be getting lots of .. not so good reviews.
I'm guessing that it either fits really well or it doesn't at all (judging from the other reviews).
So hit or miss but DEFINITELY worth the try!! Just return it if it fits "like a potato sack" ;)
Andd, the ribbon on the top back is cute and the open back allows lots of cute options, a cute and classy(front part)/sexy(from the open back) dress!!
One of my favorite dresses...
..
.. get the dress!!

A classy swimmer dress!

(October 7, 2012)
"Alright yes this dress is rather large I got the xs and on my 5ft5in 34A frame it's the right length for all occasions. I've got a slim build and I'm a swimmer so hiding my shoulders is always a big thing ( since they're so wide!) but this dress is so flattering I cannot believe! Anyways yes the top half is great and yes it is rather large but it's only the skirt part that you feel like you're swimming in it, so my advice?- BELT IS REQUIRED! I got the black and it looks just like it looks in the picture it's perfect! I consider the red nice but black is more forgiving since you'll be playing w/ it. Also if you aren't a fan of the zipper in the back the extra fabric is perfect for covering it if you wear a belt and play with it some more. It falls nicely and is light so you won't need to worry about it being heavy in all the wrong places. It's definitely made. So four stars because it's big! 5 if it wasn't haha!"

Cute in picture, terrible in person

(August 16, 2012)
"A potato sack fits better than this dress. It looks so cute in the picture so I got it even though the reviews were poor. The dress has no shape whatsoever. There is way too much material that even the cinched waist doesn't help."

Disappointing

(August 8, 2012)
"despite the other poor reviews this dress got, I still went for it. There is way too much fabric on this dress, it makes you look like a box. I bought it in a small, but I seriously doubt an xs would have made a difference in the shape. I'm 5"9, slim build, and would not recommend this dress unless you want to look like you have no waist."

Did I order the same dress?

(July 13, 2012)
"This dress is a far cry from the one on the model. I am your textbook medium. I have a smaller chest (34 A), but it usually isn't an issue with most other dresses/clothing. I am drowning in this dress. It is a bit of a darker hue and the zipper isn't shiny and gold as shown. I must also agree that it looks cheap."

Not flattering

(July 6, 2012)
"On the model it looks gorgeous. When i got the package i was so excited but it ended up being too big and just not flattering. the back is beautiful, but it also felt a little cheaply made. I am 5'9, i purchased a small and it was large. I am skinny, but not extremely. In other stores i always wear smalls but this was just baggy ( and not in a good way ). i wouldn't recommend it, but if u do get it. Buy it small!!"
