"I live in New Zealand, and bought the white shirt while in san francisco and bought this shirt and I am so happy with it. It is so comfortable and soft and it goes with any pants. I love wearing it with my olive green topshop jeans."

Stupid mistake

"I purchased this shirt in both colours, and I absolutely adored them. The only problem is, I listened to the people who recommended to size down one (I'm usually a medium.) When I has received both shirts, the shoulders were a bit tight and it just wasn't fun. They also shrink when you wash them in cold water and hang dry. So just get your regular size and don't make the same mistake."

"I bought this shirt in a XS. I'm 5'0 and 132 pounds, and it fits great. Now BDG is known for their sizes to be larger than normal so if you want it fitted and not very spacious, size down for sure."

big and odd fitting

"I got the white shirt with the grey dots. I am 4'11 and about 105ish lbs. The fabric is thick/substantial, but the fit is odd. I purchased an XS and the fit seemed boxy. Usually even relaxed fit has some kind fo slight shape. Anyway, it also looked weird tucked in, so I decided to return."

"Exactly how I imagined it to be. The fabric is soft and loose. The print so cute too. I got the cream with grey polka dot and its the cutest thing ever. I saw that different store had a similar one for triple the price of this and I like this one much better."

"I got this shirt in the cream/white color. The material is thicker and softer than I was expecting. Not your typical, thin button-up shirt. I think it's super cute! I'm sure you can dress it up, but I'll wear it more casual with skinny jeans and a bright pair of flats for a pop of color!"

"This is the first review I have ever written on an item so that's saying a lot. I got a small and I'm 5'5 and about 125 pounds and it was perfect. The material feels nice and it looks great. The sleeves fit just right to where you can roll them up or keep them down. Get it!"

"I love this top! I'm 5'4 and 118 lbs and I ended up buying the S. Sometimes I have problems with button down tops being too tight over my chest area because I'm a D but this top fits perfectly. The fabric is super soft and it's really nice quality. I wasn't expecting it to be such a great top for $39 but I was pleasantly surprised!"

"The shirt is incredibly comfortable and not stiff at all, like most cotton shirts. (This one is 100% cotton) The fabric is perfect - not too thin and not too thick and not at all sheer. However I found that the sizing runs a bit large, especially around the shoulder area."

"This is the softest button up I own!! So unbelievably comfortable. Boxy fit, my only complaint would be that there isn't enough fabric in the bust area. Other than that it's a fantastic shirt, definitely recommend it!"

"This runs a little large, I have an XS and i am 5'3, 130 pounds. I like the fit though, it is great tucked into jeans. The fabric is not sheer-- really gets a lot of use in my wardrobe. I think it could be a little cheaper for what it is though."

"This shirt is really cute. I'm 125lbs 5'7 32b and I got the polka dots in a small. It definitely is a boyfriend fit, kinda boxy. I probably could've gone with an xs but I think it would've been too short. I ended up sewing some elastic in the back of this shirt just to draw the waist in a bit and it worked perfectly!"

"I got this in blue (the striped one) and the fit is on point. The material is pretty nice, not thin as I had expected. This shirt is cute and seems comfortable but I'm going to have to return it since I can't really incorporate it into my wardrobe... It seems preppier in person than in the online depiction. Personally, I can only see this shirt being paired with boat shoes or tucked into a skirt for an interview but I'm sure other people could definitely work it."
