"For reference, I'm 125 lbs, 32 C, 28 inch waist, size 27 pants. I originally ordered this dress in my usual size Small in the tan color, but when I received it, it was TINY. Could barely fit it over my hips. It's not loose around and under the butt like it makes you believe in the picture. I exchanged the dress for a M, but even that was pretty snug. I kept it anyway because it really is a pretty and comfy dress. It is a little see-through, but I wear a slip under it. Overall, I would recommend buying it, but definitely size up one, maybe even two sizes."

AMAZING dress BUT...

"You need to have the body for this dress. I'm smaller up top and have a big butt / thighs -- I was hesitant to purchase this dress in the first place because if the mixed reviews, but I loved it on the model so I decided to try it out... Wrong choice.
I ordered a medium, and it was too big up top but snug on my lower half. It clung way too much in all the wrong places for me. I'm about 5'4 34A 130. Also, the slit was more in between my legs than to one side, which I thought was strange. I ordered the black and it's a little see-through. I think if you wear black undies/bra it would be fine, but I'm not sure.

Ordered Tan xs and got Sand/sable color

"This dress appears to be more loose in the photos, and when it arrived it was a lot tighter than I expected it to be. Maybe I should have ordered a size S but always order XS. The material is great and feels great on your skin. The scoop neck is higher on my dress almost bordering a crew-neck. The color I ordered was Tan. I was not happy when I saw that it was a totally different color than I ordered. The packaging says sand/sable but I feel it is more of a grey color. I have to say at first, I hated it and wanted to return it immediately. After having it on 10 minutes the color grew on me and I put black shoes on and jewlery and it came together nicely. This is a rare circumstance when getting sent the wrong color actually worked out to my benefit. This is a really beautiful dress made of good material and its hard not to like it in every color. I am 5'9, 110 for reference. Im wearing it with black wedges, and silver costume jewlery."

Pretty Dress, Just not for me

"This is a very lovely dress. I initially wanted small but had ordered to order a M in black because the small was out of stock. I feel like this dress is not made for every body type. I'm very petitie and while it did hug me in the right places it dragged to the floor or would pile up around my waist/hip area. Obviously if you're tall this would be a good dress you might want to invest in. Unfortunately I had to return it."

Not for pear shapes...

"I'm petitie but have a pear shape and the S was way too small, the M was too big up top and baggy around my waist and loose in the hips. The fit just didn't work out, it really is a lovely dress and I felt at 5'4 the height of the slit was awkward. Also white is see through!"

"I purchased this dress in black, and could not be happier. Its so much better than it looks online. Will be a staple in my wardrobe. The slit in the dress adds a vent which negates the incubator effect that maxidresses have on hot days. My only mild concern is that I'm 5'7, and the small is a teeny bit long for flats (I dont really wear heels), but you can work around it. Buy this if you want to look and feeling amazing."

"Bought this dress in black and loved it so much i bought it in the tan! Really easy to wear and super flattering, and just sexy enough with the slit. I paired mine with a skinny belt to give myself a waist - recommend!"

"Honestly I am so obsessed with this maxi dress!! it is the perfect maxi dress that can be dressed up or down and is the most comfortable fabric. Previous comments state its sheer, I purchased the black (size S, 34C, sz 25/26 jean...and it fits perfect) and it was not sheer at all! A must buy for summmmer"

"The perfect black dress, can be dressed up or down, depending on how you accessorize. I bought a smaller size that perfectly fits my curves and looks sexy, no belt required like it's shown in the photo. Be warned it's slightly see-through, so you may want to layer a slip underneath. Other than that, love it."

Stunning & simple, yet a touch see-through

"This maxi is just simply gorgeous on.. it hugs your skin, (which in itself show off your best assets,) yet is incredibly comfortable. The high slit is just the right amount of sexy, with a great scoop neck, and a simple racerback. The material is soft, and cozy, yet a tad sheer. Although I don't mind wearing a full length dress that is a bit see-through, you may not, and beware.. no flash photography, because once that flash goes off, you can see everything in the photo (is that a polka dot bra i see?).. even though that is NOT the case in person. I recomment this dress just for the fact that is BEAUTIFUL. I always get compliments wearing it.
For reference, I am 5'6", 110 lbs and the small fit perfectly! Hope this helps :)"

"I always stayed away from maxi dresses because I thought I couldn't pull them off but this is amazing. The slit makes it not so intense and I love the fit. It is very fitted, I got a S (usually wear a M) because I thought it would be too long otherwise. It's adorable!"
