"This shirt is terrible. My boyfriend actually laughed at me when I tried it on. It's an unflattering square of a shirt that is as short as it is wide. Do not buy it."

"I'm 5'0 and 115 pounds and I got this in a Medium for a oversized look, love the fit. It's soft material, and comfortable. Definitely recommend it."

"I usually wear an x-small for everything but I got small for this denim shirt b/c I wanted to have loose fit. It was successful. Quality is good and color is good. Good stuff for 30 bucks! :)"

"I got this in the lighter blue color and have been getting a lot of complements on it. I tend to agree with the previous commentator about the sizing of it- seems to run a bit small. I am 5"4, 117, 36D, got the medium and it fits me well- oversized though flattering, looks similar to to the small on the model, good price!"

"I saw this shirt online and instantly knew I had to have it. I was actually looking for a lighter colored denim shirt for a while so I ordered a small (i'm 5'4, around 95-100lbs) and just hoped for the best. Honestly, it looks so much better in person. I was pleasantly surprised at how the fading looked so natural. Much, much better than how it looks in the photo. The fabric is soo soft and nice; the quality doesn't disappoint! Plus, it's a very relaxed fit, but it's also pretty flattering. It doesn't look like a potato sack on. Hahaha. It also covers my butt so I can wear it over leggings! The back IS slightly longer than the front, but not overly so. It's perfect. I would say go for your usual size, but if you want more of a 'tunic' look, size up!"

"Here is a direct comparison of the size small on the model pictured to the size medium that I received.
They state: "Measurements taken from size Small- Chest: 37" Length: 27"l from shoulder to front hem; 30"l from shoulder to back hem
My Shirt: Measurements taken from size Medium- Chest: 38" Length: 24"l from shoulder to front hem; 25"l from shoulder to back hem
With this comparison, you can determine that the shirt runs small. The chest of the medium fits me like a small, which is my usual size (I am 5'5", 115 lbs and 34A); and the hem is much shorter than what is pictured. The back hem is only 1 inch longer than the front, so it does not cover the rear as on the model. My opinion, if you want this shirt to fit like your true size, order one size larger. If you want it to fit more like what's pictured, order two sizes larger than your normal size.
Aside from the size challenge, the shirt is a perfect lightweight denim and incredibly soft. I ordered the darker shade, which is very nice and has extremely natural fading, like Dad's old work shirt. If the sizing was accurate, I would have given this shirt 5 stars."

The best chambray shirt, ever!

"I love this shirt. I ordered the tinted denim in a size medium. For reference, I'm 5'5", 123 pounds, and a B cup. I usually wear a small but went up a size because I wanted to wear the shirt with leggings and I wanted my butt to be covered. It fits exactly like I wanted it to, if I wanted a slightly more fitted look I could have sized down. The shirt is a little boxy but nothing that would bother me. The shirt is so incredibly soft and it's also thin, which I love. The color is very true to the picture. I wouldn't have paid $64 for it so I'm glad that I was able to get it during a sale."

Manufacturer's defect...

"I ordered this shirt in the darker denim color and I love (almost) everything about it! I'm 5'4" 110lbs 34D and I bought it in the XS, and it fits so well! The only problem is that the left sleeve is missing a button hole.. I was going to re-order this to hopefully get one without the defect, but it's sold out.. Looks like I will just have to make do, because this shirt really is great! And really good quality, too, which is a major plus!"

"The washes and buttons vary on these. I grabbed a lighter, more "distressed" one with brassy metal buttons - but others were less distressed (or more "uniform) and/or had smaller white buttons. So if you have a preference it'll be better to choose one in-person. I got a size M because I wanted it to be longer/baggier (I'm 5'7", 112lbs for reference). It's soooo soft (some also had softer fabric than others, but not by much) and comfy and perfect. I will wear it heaps - love it :):):)"

"I love this shirt, buy it while it's on sale! I am 5' 1", about 100 lbs, and I bought the xs. The details are what make this shirt and keeps you from looking like you work in some kind of factory or like you could have gotten this shirt from Goodwill (not that I have a problem with Goodwill!). The bottom of the shirt ends at my crotch, the arm holes are perfect - still a few centimeters so that it's not too tight when I raise my arms but if my arms were bigger, it would be too small. The collar width is about 1 1/2 inches, small for your typical collar but unbuttoned, the collar opens up and falls in a way that's flattering. The shirt is darker in person than the photo. The fading on the front & back of the shirt make it more interesting than a flat color. When laid flat, the shirt flares out a bit on the bottom but this and the slits on the bottom of both sides of the shirt that go a few inches up from the bottom compliments a woman's hips. My only gripe is that the buttons are ugly and look cheap. They are flimsy and the paint is scrubbed off the edges for effect, but I don't love them (see photo). Not a deal breaker though, and the shirt is made so that only the top buttons are visible and the rest are hidden under and extra flap of material."

"grabbed this shirt without trying it on because it was on sale and i had been on the hunt for a good denim/chambray shirt, and i knew uo would be the best place to look. i was really surprised by the quality of this shirt. i love the hidden buttons, the material is super soft but sturdy, and the fading is very natural; it looks and feels worn-in. the cut is boxy and the sizing is pretty generous. there are a ton of different ways to wear it. recommended."

"Like most little girls, I've daydreamed about finding the perfect chambray shirt. The day has come! I have to say, considering the quality of some of UO's pieces, I'm shocked at how nice this shirt is. I purchased the Tinted Denim color in medium (5'5, 125, 32B) and it's just about perfect. It fits like your boyfriend's, if he was just slightly bigger than you -- not overly slouchy at all. It's being called a tunic, which for me works because I can wear it with leggings and not feel inappropriate. It's soft, without being flimsy. The collar is a real plus; its rounded edges and petite proportion gives it just the right feminine touch, without being "girly." Just buy it already!"

"I'm 5'7" 175 lbs and ordered a size large, and it fits perfect!! A little baggy but not SUPER baggy. I wouldn't consider it a tunic though more of just a longer shirt. The back isn't quite as long as it shows in the picture but I'm taller so I wasn't expecting it to be. Great shirt though!"

"No seriously, it is the comfiest and looks amazing. I bought the darker one it in store just to be sure about sizing. I'm 5'8 and regularly a M but I wanted it to be baggy so I got a L. If you're contemplating on buying this, just buy it. I've never been so in love with an article of clothing before. Also I thought I wouldn't like the hidden buttons, but I do. BUY THIS. RIGHT MEOW. (Not sure if my picture helped, but I like visuals)"

"I returned another denim shirt I had ordered from UO for this one. The color is way better! I chose the Vintage Denim Light, and have been searching for a color like this one. I'm 5'4 and usually order a small, but a medium fit cute and was long enough to wear with leggings or skinny jeans. It is a little pricey but looks like quality. The added touches are well done and the two-pocket look is flattering. I do wish it was less boxy in the middle but plan to wear this a lot for awhile"

"I was so excited when I got the shirt in a few days ago but was disappointed when I tried it on. It's extremely boxy and way too short. I'm 5'8, 130 lbs, and I ordered a medium. It fit fine up in the shoulders, chest and arms, but then it just looked bad from there. I was hoping it'd fit cause the material was really nice but unfortunately, it just didn't work out."

"This is the comfiest chambray shirt ever. However, be warned it's not as long as it looks in the picture...it's more of a boxy fit as other reviews say, but it's still fabulous and so versatile. Definitely worth the price!"

"I got exactly what I expected with this shirt. I got a size small as I usually do and it is perfect. It looks really cute worn like in the picture (half-tucked). It is super comfy but looks well put together and fashionable too. I can do a lot of different styles with it. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that there is a cut on both bottom sides that sometimes pops back out when I tuck it in, but it's a very little thing. I wanted a jean shirt really badly (and I was very picky about it!) but finally found the perfect one when I bought this one!"
