12 months and an unfulfilled second chance

"All information above says it all. I had this pair for 12 months, and the two were my first pairs of raw denim. I bought 2 pairs, because inevitably, something would go wrong in the raw denim process. Note: this is a review on these specific jeans, and not on the raw denim process as a whole.
I bought my standard size, and the jeans were initially perfect at the thigh area. About the same as 510's from the knees up, but from the knees down, they were inbetween 510's & 511's. They were almost perfect. However, the pockets were a bit small, and because these pants were quite tight from the thigh up, it was hard to put my hands into the front pocket, let alone put my keys, phone, or some cigarettes. The back pockets were big enough for my phone and wallet, and because these pants were so perfect before I washed them, I ripped off the tags and wore them consistently, for 3 months. Then my gf washed them.
However, after the first wash, these pants shrunk like crazy, and though they inevitably stretched out to a comfortable size, it was never really the same. These pants were tight. And the front pockets closed up on me. And because of the front pocket size, these pants were not (especially after that first wash) my go-to night pants, but they were decent enough for school. Another 2 months in (about 3 washes later) and dang, they were too small to wear. However, I had a 2nd pair! Thus, after 5-6 months, I took another swing at my 2nd pair. However, after 4 months, these things stank, in part because they were so dang tight. Pockets were still an issue too.
Overall, these pants fade nicely, but the fit was such an issue, and breaking these pants in was not fun. I kept em cuz it was too late for me (and they were okay), but its not too late for you. With $75, there are tons of pants at Urban, that are much more comfortable. Whether you're at 510 or 511 kind of guy, go with those instead."

"I guess the length of the jeans are always a 32, which is a little long for me but i ordered it nonetheless. when i got them they were baggy and not skinny tight like any 510's or even 511s but only tight from the thighs and above. it is a very nice raw though. also i got a size up since i wasnt sure about the sizing and it still fit pretty snug so i dont know if they would have stretched out or not. i returned the item because of it being baggy at the bottom for me. great fit if they made it possible to choose your own length size."

"These jeans are awesome! But don't buy your regular size. These jeans will stretch out within one days wear then will return to normal fit. You should not wash these for 6 months. So far I have been wearing mine for for about 4 months straight and they are awesome and don't stink ( result may vary) You should buy a size or two smaller. Good jeans though! :D"

"6'0'' 160lbs, i wear 31.
This pants is very slim but isn't tight as levis 510s.
It doesn't streach very much so get your ordinary size.

great pair of jeans

"im bout 5'8" @ around 130
Fit - to me they fit just like my Levis 510 but a lil tighter around the cheeks.
Color - the color is exactly how you see it online. not any darker or lighter.
Material - its a lot more stiff then your regular pair of jeans, kinda reminds me of construction paper but i like it cause it doesnt wear out as fast.
