Easiest Purchase in Awhile

"Will be one of those buys you won't regret even if you never see the price. It's casual enough to wear with jeans and nice enough to wear with a suit. I regularly do both without a second thought. Yes, it ticks rather loud - if you were resting your hand in your lap you'd hear it in a quiet room - but I find the ticking soothing. Quality materials. And the best feature, which wasn't mentioned in the write-up, is that if you push the dial in on the right side, it faintly glows so you can see the time in the dark, which is a concern considering the black-on-black. Go ahead, make the purchase."

Great watch for a great price

"Really classy and lightweight watch. I purchased the yellow one and I'm really happy with my purchase. However, like others have said, the ticking is a bit loud, but it hasn't really bothered me much. Highly recommended!"

"Watch looks great and I was impressed by the qualify of its external parts (leather strap, buckle, etc) for how little it costs. However, the ticking of the second hand is almost deafeningly loud. It's a shame because I loved how it looked but the ticking was a dealbreaker since I couldn't go to sleep with it in the same room."

Cool Casual. A solid investment

"Women can accessorize so much. And if you're a man and don't want to wear puka shells then you deserve a nice watch. I am a fan of the Breitling Navitimer and vintage Omega Sea-master but for a young man to have a 10K watch is not practical for everyday use. The TIMEX limited easy reader all black with yellow ticker arrived a week ago and I am very pleased with it. It is simple, sleek and a great everyday wearer. The face of the watch and the band are the perfect size; the face is not over sized like the Nixon 51/30 and despite having somewhat thin wrists it doesn't look like a unisex watch on me. I love the one hit of yellow on the all black. I run short of patience when reading analog watches and this one is quick to tell the time. Everything is old school simple on this watch. I read the comments on here before I purchased and the ticking does not bother me at all. The watch is worth the asking price."

"So what I failed to realize is that this watch is really circular. It almost looks like a toy when you see it from a side view but when you see it properly, it looks really simple yet classy.
Only annoying thing is that as others have complained, the ticking is a bit loud.
Other than that, it's solid."

"Purchased the all black with red dials. The watch is very simple/casual looking, yet unique in its own way. I love that it can be worn with basically any outfit and I can wear it when going out for drinks at night or as an everyday watch and wear it to class or work."

"I bought that watch in July and i find it so nice for you can wear it with almost anything ! It's cheap and comfortable.
The only thing is that the tick of the clock is very loud ! Obviously not when you're with people, etc. But every time my hand approach my head i can't help but noticing it.
But this is still a great watch to buy as you can wear it "easily"."

"I'm a person who usually doesn't like wearing things on their wrist cause it tends to bug me pretty easily. But this watch, with a great leather strap, is very comfortable and hardly bothers me (only during the summer when it's humid and sweat makes the strap stick to your wrist).
Now my favorite thing about this watch (aside from it's sleekness and ability to compliment about any outfit) is the amount of compliments I've gotten. Every kind of person you could imagine--young, old, male, female, etc.--has told me how nice it looks and they're pretty surprised when I tell them it's a Timex (I guess the build quality makes it look more expensive than it is). It never fails to put a smile on my face when a total stranger asks me where I got it.
Pros:
Very sleek, doesn't snag on clothes very easily (if ever). The colors are excellent and the red second hand is very noticeable and looks awesome against the dark face. And surprisingly the watch light works very well (didn't even know there was one) and helps with being able to see if you're in a low light area. That being said, you should have no problems reading the watch if you're in a well lit area.
Some Cons:
It can be a bit loud but it's only noticeable if you're close to it and there's no other noise so I don't think it would bother anyone around you. The only time the ticking has been overly noticeable is when I'm trying to sleep and it's sitting on my dresser. I don't mind the loud tick but it may bother other people.
The face does easily reflect light but that's typical for most watches. It's also somewhat easy to scratch so be careful that you're not dragging it against something that'll leave a mark.
All-in-all a great watch and one of my favorite possessions."

"i bought this watch for my boyfriend. he's the plaid shirt & jeans kinda guy, so i wanted to get him a watch that could be for an everyday, but also for fancier events. black goes with everything, and the yellow ticker is a nice kick!
the band seems to be a durable material. what i love most about this watch is he has big wrists, and the sizing is perfect - though the size of the face would be flattering for smaller wrists as well. he loves it and wear it all the time! :)"

"Great watch! Simple yet unique. The only complaint I have is that the face is a little too shiny. I wish it would have more of a matte finish so one could better see the great details, but, other than that, it's just great! Very comfortable, nice leather band, and the yellow hand on the watch really packs a punch on eyes."

"I purchased this watch a while back and absolutely love it!
What makes this watch stand out is that it is very slim and subtle, but very unique! With the cold weather right now, when I put long sleeves, I do not struggle with putting something on because of the watch, everything just slides over it. Also, even though there is tone on tone, it is very readable, the light helps, but overall this watch is AMAZING! I can't stress it enough, ever since I got it, I have been complemented so much."
