Great for bigger bums and legs

"So I'm a UK size 12 which is a 30 but I usually really struggle with jeans because my legs are chunky. I try to go up a size but then they are huge on the waist. But I just LOVE skinny jeans so I thought I would give these a go. When they arrived I was having a "fat day" and was miserable at the thought of trying them on and having to send them back but I tried them and they are PERFECT!!!!! They are so stretchy and comfortable!!! And super slimming!! I washed them a couple of times before wearing them because yes the dye does come off on skin but they are fine now. Best jeans ever!"

"I usually love BDG jeans, but I feel like the quality over the years has faded. When I got these in the mail they fit perfectly and were a deep, rich black, which was great, but I didn't realize they were ankle length, which looks a little awkward on me since I'm taller (5'9.) It just looks like they're too short. Then, after one wash (heed the instructions! I washed mine with a coral dress and the dress came out with black splotches on it. I was so sad! But it was my fault. WASH SEPARATELY) Anyway, I put the jeans on, zipped them up, and the zipper split right down the middle. Now I don't know if I can return them for wearing/washing them. Super disappointed."

I loved these jeans but...

"I tried these jeans on in store and bought them for $68 (canadian) I was extremely pleased with the way they fit! The black was extremely slim and I felt confident. I wore the jeans once and the zipper broke, now I got these jeans a size up because I wanted them loose so I know it wasn't because they didn't fit well. I went to the store and they had none in my size left, so now I've got one pair of jeans for the next two weeks. Love urban outfitters but I was upset with this purchase :("

"Almost all my jeans and pants are high waisted because for one, I'm only 5 feet tall and two, I love the look of them. These jeans are by far my favorite. The sizing does seem like it has gotten smaller but I don't mind. The fit is extremely flattering and I love the detail in the front. It is definitely a must have!"

"These jeans are AMAZING! They fit me perfectly but thing is these jeans fade really bad. It has a horrible dye job tbh. First wash and you can see a little fade in it like wth man? These jeans have an amazing fit but it prob won't last long well at least the color."

Amazing pair of jeans

"I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this pair as I was just looking for a nice-fitting pair of high-waisted black jeans and looking at the extensive amount of (mostly positive) reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I HAVEN'T LOOKED BACK. It is absolutely amazing. I am so happy at how they fit so easily. It is slightly stretchable so it is comfortable to get in unlike most other jeans where you have to force your way in and end up breathless at the end. BUT, my favorite part is that IT MAKES MY BEHIND LOOK SO GOOD (like it does not pop out of my outfit when I plan to look sleek). When I am late, this pants are my go-to when the clock is ticking down 8~)"

"I bought my first pair of these about 3-4 years ago, and I still have them. They are completely faded and I have ripped off a few belt loops, but they still look amazing after all the wear and tear. I recently got myself another pair, and wow. I had forgotten how awesome they are when they're brand new. Super fitted and flattering, very high waisted, and super long which allows for really nice bunching. I cannot stress enough how well these fit and look. If UO knows anything, it's about high waisted pants. Trust me, you need these.
I am 5'5", about 137 pounds with a 27.5 inch waist and I wear a 28. They are perfect."

"These are my favorite pants. My first pair of high waisted pants and I was nervous about the fit. THEY ARE AMAZING. I am 5'5 112pds and they are super flattering. They make it look like I have a butt, while also making me look slim. Do not question yourself BUY THEM"

worst zipper everrrrrr

"i was super excited to get these and as i tried them on for the first time the zipper wouldn't go up, and once it did it stayed there. no matter what i did it would not come down. i had to literally pull them down and it took forever to get them off. instead of exchanging them for another pair and another faulty zipper, i just got the zipper replaced. I'm 5'4" 130lb and i got them in 27/29 and they're a little snug but fit really well and tight all the way through the leg. i would have loved them and said how amazing they are (and they are) but the zipper."

"Buying these came with a lot of anxiety because they would be my first pair of pants purchased online. After reading basically EVERY review, I decided to size down. I might add that I have a very particular body shape. I'm 5'5" and weigh 120 lbs. I have a rather round backside, if you know what I mean, but an EXTREMELY thin waist, so I was obviously a little hesitant about picking the size. Like I said, I sized down from a 27 to a 26 and I most certainly recommend it. I could have probably managed to squeeze my booty into a 25, but let's not push it. Anyway, the pants fit PHENOMENALLY. They're super stretchy which makes them very comfortable, and they cinch my body just at the right spots. They make my legs look like they go for miles, my bootie fantabulous, and my stomach super thin. They don't bunch up awkwardly anywhere and basically make me feel like my milkshake will most certainly bring all the boys to the yard, (although, you know, butt, not boobs - but i couldn't resist.) I am definitely buying several more pairs of these since I'm already having separation anxiety after taking them off five minutes ago. I think these jeans are perfect for every single body type, I do wish they came in a shorter size though."

"These jeans are great. Tight, but not too tight, and just the right length. I'm pretty short and most jeans just keep going far past my ankles. These are perfect. The dye smells pretty bad at first and it takes a few washes to get it out and stop the dye from rubbing off, but that is normal with jeans, especially dark ones. All in all: great jeans."

Great jeans but some flaws

"These jeans are extremely comfortable , have a great look to them, and fit like a glove. I'm 5'4'' and these jeans sit a little above my belly button. I bought this pair and the blue pair and my complaints about them are that they faded quite a bit when I first washed them although I forgot to wash them in cold water so it may be due to the fact that they were washed in warm water, but either way I'm disappointed that these jeans lost color so easily. None of my other jeans from other stores do this when I wash them in warm water. Secondly, the zipper on these jeans are awful they get stuck and are just a pain. I still love these jeans though because they suck everything in and are just great high waisted jeans."

"I've been looking for this length of jeans for quite a long time! I am 168cm and I prefer an angle length black jeans. This pair suits my every requirement! The fabric is also quite thick and soft, doesn't feel like the cheap jeans.Size is also standard. I am usually AU size 8, I ordered a 28 and it is perfect!"

"saw the reviews and knew i had to wash it by hand first before washing it with my other clothes in the machine. had to wash it twice by hand actually. and even after 3 washes, it still had that weird smell. i didnt like how it was more of a twig-ish material than jean but that was alright.
i usually wear a 27 but it didnt fit because of my belly. i have to say, my belly aint that big. im only 5'4 130 lbs. other high waisted jeans do do their job in flattering it unlike this pair. i had to change into a size 28 and even then it was still a bit suffocating when putting it on like wow. my belly aint even that big lol. but i think the problem is the seam part. it will divide your belly into 2 parts and most of your fat will be squeezed to the top lol and then youll look mad fat. ok, this is an unusual review but overall even without the belly problem lol, its not worth 39$ because of all that dye"

"These jeans are pretty awesome! They are stretchy and feel more like a cotton twill than a denim. They are a true high waist! I got the 31/29 size. I have an hourglass shape, around 165lbs, 5'4" and I hate wearing jeans because of the digging and bunching they cause around my stomach, let alone my behind showing when I sit. These are the answer to all those problems, it tucks me in all the right spots and flows with my figure and covers me up. Super cute! I can't wait to wear these w/ bandeaus this summer!"

"i was skeptical about buying jeans from urban outfitters because everyone that writes a review is less then 150 lbs lol. but im on the heavier side. 189 lbs to be exact. i have a big butt and huge thighs and i got a size 33/32 and it fits great! i love it and i will definitely purchase more."
