Lovely, but...

"I really loved the lace design on this dress, but it's definitely for skinnier, small-chested girls. Otherwise, it's not very flattering. The material is really nice and sturdy, but as one other reviewer said, the lace doesn't lay flat. Again, beautiful design, just did not work for me.

"i am 5'8 ish with a large bottom and small top. usually wear a 6 or 8. it fits me nicely besides being a little short but with black leggins or something it will be fine. not sure I would have paid the full amount but happy with my deal."

"This dress looks really vintage and flapper-y online, but in person it looks way more bad-70s-crochet. The lace doesn't lie flat at all and the waist is very baggy. If you were hoping too fill the dress out with hips or breasts, I don't think it will help. I tried it belted, but I think I'm just going to send it back. Cute design though!"

Chest area too loose

"So i'm 5'4'' 135 lbs and 36C. the bottom was tight but for some reason the chest area was wayyy too loose. like you can see the armpit area flaring out. and its surprisingly long. i mean overall, its a pretty dress, the lace is nice."

"I had been eying this dress for a while, and when I saw it on sale for $25 I knew I had to buy it. I purchased the navy color in a size medium and for reference, I'm about 5 ft 3" and 120 pounds. It fits perfectly! I saw some reviews from other girls around my height who said it was too long on them, but on me it hits mid-thigh. The lace detailing is really pretty. Its a much nicer blue than what the picture shows. If you're on the fence about this dress, just go for it, you won't regret it! :)"

"I saw this dress on sale for $25, and I could not resist. It is so beautiful and I love it. I got a size S and I am 5'8'' and 110 pounds, and it fit perfectly. This is such a cute dress, and worth it for the price! Buy while it lasts!"

"I normally fit in a large (5'8, 160lb, 34D), but this dress was wayyyyy too short in the back... and was really unflattering in the chest area. If you have no curves, I can see how this dress would be really cute, but I will be returning it. sad."

"I got the Large Navy version of this dress. The image online makes the dress seem much darker (read: blacker) than the actual product. For girls with a larger bottom, the back rides a little higher up than may be comfortable, so consider adding leggings or tights. Also, for pear shaped girls, the lace details don't stay flat. Other than that, the dress was true to size, the top was very spacey and comfortable, and the dress is REALLY CUTE. I layered it with a blue blazer and it looks awesome."

"It's a cute dress but runs large. I'm 5'5" 130 lbs and the Med. size is loose on me, especially under the arms. Also the blue color looks dark in the picture but is really a pretty blue. The length was long, the lace fell just above my knee."

"I ordered this dress on sale and I would've paid full price knowing how pretty it is. I am 5'7" and 125lbs....I ordered a medium based on all of the reviews stating it was very, very short. It is a tad bigger in width than I would want but the length is great! I love it and they do not have a smaller size to exchange it or I would exchange it for a small. Overall very happy with it :)"

"This dress is wonderful. I'm 5'6", 140 lbs., and a size S fit perfectly. I'm usually a size M but this dress runs just a tad bit larger than most. However, it is a little shorter than I would prefer so I have to wear it with leggings. My favourite thing is its ability to be dressed up or dressed down. If you're considering purchasing it, do it!"

"I so wanted to like this dress, but I tried it on and it's obscenely short. JUST covers my butt. I'm 5'6" and I tried on the XS and there was just no way I could wear this as a dress. Sad, because it's really cute otherwise!! If you're very short this might work, but be prepared to either return it or wear as a tunic."
