"I wouldn't pay for the full price but $14 dollars it was such a good purchase! I bough it for my sister which is in high school. The bag is so roomy and you can customize it yourself because it is plain."

"Wow, this exceeded my expectations from a product by Deena+Ozzy. It's made well, and sturdy but the denim is not stiff. It's comfortable and the pocket on the outside is huge. There's also another pocket on the inside. It's roomy enough for books, if used for school, and would make a travel/weekend bag or even to use as a purse. It's a decent size but is totally cute to rock for a night out. The acid wash is pretty much the same as the photo, not much variation. The only downside is the difficult of the straps, they're tough to adjust because the denim is so thick and the clasp used to adjust them is plastic. I'm even more excited because I didn't pay full price but rather the $15 clearance price so that rules. Overall, awesome purchase!"

"I have an affinity for anything that's acid washed, so I instantly fell in love with this backpack. Not to mention, it's made out of a light acid washed denim material, which makes it ten times greater.
The quality is excellent, but I don't use or plan on using it to carry a heavy load. I use it for college, and I typically carry two notebooks, a textbook, a pencil bag, graphing calculator, my wallet, a water bottle, and a small book for leisure reading. There are also two small pockets and a zipper located in the main compartment.
The backpack is fine on its own, but it was a bit plain for my preference. The great thing about it is that it's open for customization. To make things interesting, I customized it with a few band pins and buttons that I've collected. You can also add studs, iron-on patches, or even distress it if you'd like. It's essentially a blank canvas with awesome acid washed detailing.
I'm happy that I snagged this backpack while it's on sale, but I wish I would've waited a little longer seeing how it's on sale for even less now. Nevertheless, it's a great bag and worth the price. It goes well with my eclectic style, and I get a lot of compliments and interesting looks from people."

"The material it's made of is sturdy, true to the color as pictured, and the backpack overall is great. It holds everything I need without looking bulky. It feels like I'm not even wearing a backpack since the straps are pretty thick. Great buy, i love it"

"This backpack is amazing. It's cute and functional, and at $42, that can't be beat. I've been using it daily for two months now, and there are no signs of it breaking down. Also, my 13-inch MacBook Pro fits perfectly along with all of my books. BTW, I'm an English major, so I have quite a few books."

"I love this backpack and get lots of compliments on it! Word of warning, if you plan to use this for a school purposes, such as carrying books and binders, I would be careful as some wear and tear might develop on the straps. I feel comfortable with carrying around two one-inch binders and a small book. If you have to carry around all of your binders and books all the time, I would recommend getting the acid wash jansport instead. But overall I love it! Great to use in replace of a purse or satchel."

"This bag is great for everyday use. It adds style to every outfit. The quality is great and the color is exactly as pictured. Aside from the pocket outside, there is another small one inside. I wish it had more compartments inside for cell phones, etc.--other than that I have to say this bag is perfect."

Bookbag vs. Dance Bag

"I brought the leopard print one after reading the reviews. I brought as a bookbag, I can say that it cant hold anything. I had 3 textbooks, and 3 notebooks; and it felt like it was gonna rip. The inside is ripped up, and its just a mess. But I do use it as a dance bag, which is why i gave it a three stars. I can put shoes, a water bottle, and dance clothes, and notebooks. And its very convenient , and very cute with my dance clothes. I will be buying the kimichi wallet in coral pink which , I hope will last."

"Of all the 10+ bags I currently own, I love this one the most! It actually looks a bit different from the picture, but in a good way. It has really pretty vintage denim acid-washed details and is just the right size for a bagpack. Received lots of compliments too! :D"

"This bag is pretty good. The quality of it actually surprised me. One time, i had a water bottle inside the bag that leaked. Surprisingly, no water seeped through the fabric. It's quite comfortable to carry and I get complements on it all the time. Unfortunately, one of the pieces as a handle for the zipper came off but that's alright. It's also obvious this bag wont last. School started in late August. After wearing it daily, mid September came along and I started getting holes and wear on the straps. Now, it's October 10th and the holes have gotten bigger and they've started appearing all over the sides of the strap. But, it doesn't seem like the bag's gonna completely fall apart any time soon. I'll give it until maybe may of 2013. A couple of my friends have the denim backpack from American Apparel. I have yet to see someone with this same exact backpack. Compared to the denim backpack from American Apparel, this bag is better. The AA backpack isn't water proof and dirt is more visible. Their backpacks are also beginning to get holes on the bottom as well as on the strap. Overall, this backpack is perf except for the wear on the straps which causes me to bump down 2 stars."

BEST BACKPACK EVER!

"I was so tired of boring backpacks year after year, so when I was in Baltimore one day, I saw this one it was like love at first sight. I didnt want to buy the classic Jansport backpacks or all of the other various options that are available on the Urban Outfitters website. This backpack has a very large capacity; I usually carry around 5 binders with a folder and notebook in each of them and it all fits! I'm very pleased about that! The cost of this backpack is very low compared to other companies and it was worth every penny. I get compliments on it constantly! It's almost a month into school and I still have people coming up to me saying how much they adore by backpack! Great purchase! Would recommend to anyone who wants a backpack that will stand out!
P.S. You can use it during the summer while traveling."

"I was so happy to see the package in my door after I came back from school but was unfortunately was disappointed when the zipper didn't work properly.
There are couple spots in the zipper where it takes effort to unzip, and if you look carefully, the zipper doesnt get properly lined up.. so im going to see if i can exchange it at some other urban stores near me.

"I LOVE THIS BACKPACK.
It's cute and it looks good with whatever I wear!
The only downside is the straps. The straps are very thin for the backpack. I don't know if the straps will be able to hold up the bag when I start putting more things into it. Also, the straps are hard to adjust.

When I saw it online and the reviews I was kinda scared of the fishy smell so I went to the store it was on the first display I saw.
