i love it <3

(December 14, 2012)
"I am an extreme camera enthusiast. I have been wanting this camera for about three months now and my grandma bought it for me the week before last. I absolutely love it <3 Anytime i bring it anywhere everybody freaks out over its sleek vintage look. I have taken twelve photos so far and I can't wait to bring this on my trip to New York ! It's very easy to understand how to work and i had no trouble taking my first photo. The only problem is i wasted three pictures due to light exposure but that was my own stupidity. Definitly my favorite camera !"

Adore this camera!

(May 10, 2012)
"I honestly had alot of doubts when i bought this. I had never used a polaroid before and was unsure if i was wasting my money. Well it showed up by fedex on my doorstep one evening and the packaging was a little...beat up. Thank god the camera was not damaged but the box definitely was.
But overall, i love this camera. I have only taken two pictures, both in color. But they turn out amazing. No problems with the light or saturation. My neck strap was busted when i got it but i still love it. I highly recommend this camera. GREAT BUY and extremely easy to use(:

LOVE IT!

(December 30, 2011)
"OH MY GOODNESS. i LOVE this camera! It works brilliantly! i got it for christmas and have absolutely no complaints to say. But before buying this, you need to realize that the pictures will not come out crystal clear or perfect, thats really what makes Polaroid cameras fun though! The thing i love about this camera, is how it can make ordinary pictures look super vintage and just amazing!
TOTALLY would recommend to anyone who loves cameras!

Polaroid camera

(December 11, 2011)
"We used to have these cameras back in the 70s and 80s. The cameras were cheap (Maybe $20). But the film was expensive. (About $1 per picture.) It's nice to see these cameras coming back. I'm amused that some of you youngsters find the equipment hard to use. It's pretty simple once you've used it a few times."

confusingg

(November 30, 2011)
"i wanted this camera so much and i asked for it for christmas because i think that is so cool that polaroid cameras are brought back.
but when i got it there was barely any directions and when i tried putting in the film i was very confused, it was simple but there were some things about the frog tongue i was worried about.
But this is a great camera and you most definitely need to learn a little about the skill of taking these picturess like as in you need to know to leave the picture face down when you first take it out to keep it from being exposed to light but this camera is definitely worth it.... good luckk(:"

Love this!

(November 7, 2011)
"I have a Polaroid One Step 600 which is very similar to this camera. But the film is the main thing. The color shade film is very unpredictable and it varies from pack to pack. Make sure you have enough light, but not too much! And right after you take the photo, COVER IT! Or the photo will most likely be ruined. Resist the temptation to peek until after a few minutes have passed. I've only been able to shoot a few of these but I'm looking to buy more soon!"

Familiarize with Impossible Project before buying

(November 6, 2011)
"I love this set and its concept, however, as other reviewers have noted, the film is nowhere near perfect and there are a few kinks that need to be perfected both chemically (which is what them impossible project is trying to do) and manually (by YOU when putting the camera and the film to use). With the proper technique, you can get this film to turn out beautifully. It may take you a while to determine the following appropriate criteria for your camera and film: lighting (unless you use flash, it basically has to be completely clear and sunny out), angles, depth, room temperature(VERY important for Impossible Project films!!), reaction time, type of Impossible project film, etc.
THIS IS NOT Polaroid film, its Impossible Project film, and you have to keep in mind that these people were granted the old Polaroid equipment, but NOT the Polaroid recipes. The Impossible Project has therefore had to rebuild the instant photograph from the bottom up, and this film is there latest beautiful creation.
These photographs will not turn out perfect..in fact, many of them may not turn out at all how you expected, but to me, that's what I love about Impossible Project. I love the art of the unknown art...I love seeing a manipulation of my original idea. It can be a very different take on the instant Polaroids we used to know.
The film comes with (at least your should) instructions on how to care for the film; in most cases, you must IMMEDIATELY place the film FACE down on a black or dark surface, and then place something else over it to ensure that the emulsion is not penetrated by light in any way. This will help promote the best development.
Again, this all varies from film to film (color, speed, camera, etc). Read the instructions in your film box, and then read them again on the Impossible Project website. Their website can also help you to use the camera.
This camera and film set is probably not for someone looking for fast thrills and a good time; it's for those who truly want to work with the film and learn to love it for it's flaws until they finally get it right. It's for someone who's very willing to buying another $24.00 pack of film on the Impossible Project website once these 2 packs run out (and they will run out fast!).
Also...one last word of advice: always avoid bending the packs of film inward when placing it in the camera or else all of your photos from that cartridge will have a black smudge in the middle *SEE UPLOADED PHOTOS* Other issues (repetitive spotting, blurs, blackouts) can be addressed on the Impossible Project website.
Happy shooting!!"

Great If You Want It Bad

(October 20, 2011)
"I was ecstatic to get my camera but I quickly realized that the film would be a hard get, especially because of the cost. However, because my childhood photo albums are full of polaroids, I wasn't at all regretful with my decision!
The camera is beautiful itself, and I have yet to test it out (probably cause one shot's worth a chunk a gold). The camera came safely packaged and the box contained everything I needed! A great kit, but if you need instructions I would suggest going on the "Impossible Project" website since the box doesn't come with it."

Awesome :)

(October 16, 2011)
"When this arrived the box was slightly crushed despite being labeled "FRAGILE." Go figure. I don't think there's anything wrong with the camera. They packed it pretty good.
Unfortunately I'm a little puzzled with this old technology! :) I can't get any of the pictures to turn out that good. I know there's probably some sort of trick to the exposure adjustment. I've been experimenting with it and so far all but one of my pictures looks washed and too bright. The one that turned out OK still looked slightly dark. I know that they aren't supposed to be as clear as if you just bought a new camera. Right now it seems as if they're all turning out the same no matter what exposure setting I have on. Hopefully it changes...
It sucks that the film is hard to find and costs so much. I think it'd be worth it though.
Also, it came with instructions on how to remove the frog tongue should you need to replace it, but I found it impossible to take off the faceplate. It stated to use a sharp object and simply pop it off. I also looked up a video on Project Impossibles website and the guy simply removed the plastic faceplate with a knife.
I tried a few different tools to do this, including tiny screwdrivers, to no avail. I obviously wasn't rough on it and I still left some marks. I gave it to my dad to try and he ended up slightly marring the plastic. All it was doing was bending small pieces of plastic outward. It doesn't even budge. He definitely wasn't careless with it, and actually used to use these at work when they were in production."
