"While these are really quite fun, they are much bigger than what I expected. Kind of bummed out, I wanted them for my second holes, but they just don't look right. ergs. Really cute though, honestly."

Stunning Earrings, but Loose Backs

"These earrings are stunning! I bought them in the store and wear them constantly, and getting compliments nearly every time - no kidding. The thick base is true, but it really doesn't bother me nor is it a noticable negative issue. The only negative I have is that the backs are really loose, I actually just lost one of them :-( But really, they are such great earrings I am buying them AGAIN and will take the other commentors advice and put my extra rubber backs on them. HIGHLY recommend!"

"I bought these on sale in store for $5! They definitely have a thick base as others have mentioned in their reviews but that didn't bother me. Only problem I had with them was that I found the backing studs were too loose so I just simply replaced them with rubber ones I had at home. I love them!"

"I was shopping for a friends christmas gift in the store when I found these. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. They are so gorgeous in person i'm still deciding whether to keep them for myself. They do protrude but if thats what you're looking for then they're just beautiful."

"The first reviewer is right. Online, the thick base is not pictured. It really looks awful with the base, don't waste your money, because you'll probably end up returning."

The Pictures Don't Show Everything

"The earrings, while cute from the front have a 1/4 thick silver base below the point that connects to the stud and causes the earrings to protrude out and gives them an odd look. This detail is not shown online and I wish I had known about it before purchasing. If they didn't stick out as much they would be great, but sadly they are going back."

HUGE but really pretty

"I returned these only for the size. They were WAY bigger than I thought, and this is probably my fault. They are a little over .5 in wide, which made the earrings cover my whole ear lobe and sag a little since they are kind of awkward. They are, however, made very well and are really pretty. They would definitely be a great addition to your holiday wardrobe, and at a great price, too."
