"This Moon lamp is so cute! I get compliments whenever friends see my room. Even my boyfriend thinks its cool, and he is quite discerning about what he praises! ;) Its a little smaller than I expected but nevertheless, so great."

Good, but...

"I just want to point out that this is a children's toy from a company which makes educational toys.... there aren't any qualms there from me except that the light is made out of a thin plastic and it turns off automatically after 30 minutes.
At first when I bought it I thought I was getting something more durable and more realistic. Though it is really cool looking from a distance you get anywhere close to it and it looks cheap like a toy. I tried to put it around my room but I couldn't seem to make it meld with the rest of my decor due to it's toyish appearance. The best thing I can compare it to would be one of those touch lamps that are battery operated, it would be a good night light for a dark apartment or maybe a kitchen.

On another note, this being a kids toy it is really overpriced, I was shocked whenever I saw it at a supermarket for much much much cheaper.

"I bought this product mid year, and there were plenty of reviews so I didn't write one but now I see there are none so I thought I should tell you that this product is totally great. The moon looks very realistic, and gives an amazing moonlight glow when the lights are off. You can even change the phases of the moon, it's brilliant. It was relatively easy to put up. An average hook worked for me. Battery life seems to be good; although the moon turns itself off after about 10 minutes, which can be either good or bad. You can easily turn it back on with the remote control it comes with though. The only reason I didn't give it all stars was because I don't think it is worth the value it's sold at....but still, other than that it's really lovely, and you won't regret purchasing it :)"
