"i love these boots. i bought them in the white and i got a size 9 originally because i sized up. i usually wear an 8-8.5 but the 9 was a little too big and flopped around when i walked. i exchanged them for an 8 and they fit well. mine still needed a little breaking in even though these are supposed to be "broken in" already but now they're comfortable and super versatile. definitely worth the money."

dont size down if you have wider feet.
(February 13, 2013)
"so i bought these after reading all 40 reviews, which all said i should size down, so i did, and they dont fit. :(((( im usually a size 9 and sized down to an 8. they fit but all my toes are being crunched in this boot. so if you have wider feet you should totally go with your normal size, i know its hard but dont listen to the other reviews, because now i have to return mine and wait for another size.
other than the size the boots are adorable, i got the black and they look great in person."

"I have gone through so much trouble to even get these boots, in a size that actually fits, and now that they're here, none of it even matters. These boots are like therapy, like every time you have troubles, just go and put these things on and look at how incredible they make you look and feel. That's how great these are. Save up, and then get these, and be happy with them for the rest of your life, because they'll last for your entire life and then your children's, who you'll pass these down to. Ahh, I'm so happy to finally have these!!! ;}"

Amazing!
(January 8, 2013)
"So happy with these boots! They run large so I suggest getting a size smaller, I'm usually a 9 and I ordered these in an 8 knowing they would be large. They fit wonderfully and I get so many compliments on them, I'm in love!"

amazing purchase
(December 25, 2012)
"I lovee these shoes soo fashionable. Im an 8.5 and ordered them 8 and they are big so i would definitely recommend buying a size (or even two) smaller. They do run extremely large, i have to wear two pairs of socks and they are still big, i think it would have been better if i have gotten a 7, but it was a christmas present and therefore couldnt return them."

(December 25, 2012)
"Got these for Christmas and was sooooo happy. I'm a size 71/2 in vans and converse and got the size 7 and they fit so good, I'm glad they don't have half sizes. I can just tell I'm Hanna be wearing these almost everyday!"

A Classic
(December 16, 2012)
"I have been wanting boots to stomp all over town in that resist the elements and these are perfect just for that. I was bummed there weren't any half sized so instead of my usual 9.5 I got a 10 and it's fine with a dr.scholes shoe inserts and socks! I got the red and they're just gorge. Neutral yet eye catching. I think they'll look/feel cooler with age. I like to wear them with shorter/cuffed pants to show off my soon to be nifty socks that I have yet to acquire! I also imagine they'd be great to toughen up skirts and/or dresses."

In Love!!
(December 6, 2012)
"Bought this in purple and I'm wearing it everyday since. Took me about 2-3 days to get these broken-broken in. I'm usually a US6.5 in most brands but since there are no half sizes, US7 fits perfect with slightly thicker socks."

(November 2, 2012)
"I love love loveeeee them! they are super fun, I still wish I didn't have such tiny legs but they are great!! however I ordered a size 7 and its huge! I'm usually a 7-6 I'm bummed they don't have 6.5 because I feel like 6 will be too small, but I'll order it anyways! I was originally going to order a size 6 but the previous reviews brain washed me =( poo.. now I have to pay for shipping again because I hate the wait!"

AMAZING boots, but be ready to break them in!
(October 15, 2012)
"I ordered these in black in a size 8 and the fit is normal. The boots are amazing! I wear them almost everyday. Docs are always quality. Always stylish, always eye-catching, always statement making. And definitely worth the investment. However, just prepare yourself that the name "Worn" given to these boots is more of a testament to the style of a leather, so don't expect them to be comfortable and ready to wear. I've had mine for a week now and the breaking in process has been just a vicious as they would be with any other pair of Docs. The name is more referring to the leather, which I assume is softer than the regular 1460's. I love my boots and wear them with almost everything!"

so practical for the winter!
(October 15, 2012)
"i've been hesitating for months because of the price (i'm not one to spend a lot on one pair of shoes), but after trying on the black pairs in my local UO and getting compliments right after putting them on, i just knew i had to get them. i'll definitely be wearing them a lot since they're so practical for the winter so i guess i'll get my money's worth out of it. i don't own a pair of rainboots, these seem like good alternatives for rain/snow. another perk is that even though they're a size 7, they don't make my feet look huge haha. the only downside is there's no half sizes. i usually wear a 7-8. the 7 was really loose and the 6 was too small. i thought to myself, "hey, better loose than tight" so i ordered a 7 online. unfortunately i just found out the 7s are on the small side as well (the size "7" from the store must've actually been an 8). hopefully they loosen up as time goes on."

Take The Plunge
(September 30, 2012)
"If you are still quesitoning whether or not to get these boots, you're thinking about it too hard. These are, no contest, the best boots you will ever own. They become your go to comfy shoe, and look great with practically any outfit.
When I bought my first pair, they were the purple ones. It was a bit of a risk, but I'm so happy I did, they're incredibly unique. I can't go a day without hearing a compliment on them. Unfortunately, Docs don't have half sizes, so I decided to go up to a seven (I'm a 6.5), which worked out well. I recommend these boots a million times over. Come to the Doc side!"

I have a pair of these from BACK IN THE DAY
(September 26, 2012)
"I have to say, I'm in my 30s, and I used to wear these back in high school. I kind of can't believe they're back in style, but it seems everything from the '90s is -- what comes around, comes around again 20 years later, inevitably. I guess these are kind of a classic though.
I've got my old broken-in purple pair -- these WILL hold up for 20 years, I tell you from experience -- and now a new pair in the dark red. I'm normally an 8.5 in shoes, but had to size down to the 8 in these (9 too huge), and they're a little crampy in places, the toe box fit is a little off for me. I have always wished they made half-sizes in these. Never having been able to get the Perfect Fit, I've found these to be not the most comfortable shoe ever, only just "decent", but I do like the look of them. Half-sizes, beware, and you may want to order 2 sizes to find the better-fitting one for you."

Best shoes ever!
(September 25, 2012)
"I bought these shoes in black about a year ago, and they're honestly the best purchase I ever made. I wear them at least three times a week. They're so comfortable and look great with everything. Definitely worth the price. I wanna buy them in another color now!"

There Amazing !
(August 29, 2012)
"I love them ! I've had heaps of Doc.Martens before but I never thought to get all ready broken in ones. There amazing ! So comfy and have only given me two blisters so far (which is good because normally Docs kill at first.) They came in a proper Doc box and looked brand new, apart from some minor freying on the tags but that gives it personality, I recon.
Such comfy boots, looks the same as the picture, quality and quite low in price for what Docs are over here in Aus.
Overall Excellent buy ! Highly Recommend ! :)"

Great Shoes!
(July 31, 2012)
"I got these in the mail a few weeks ago and I just love them! I got the black and my normal show size fit perfectly! Also, there is a little crease on the toe which I think made the shoe that much cuter but I suppose it's up to personal opinion. And as with all Doc Martens, they took a while to break in but once I had, they were super comfortable and sturdy. I highly recommend them."

Worth every penny
(July 26, 2012)
"I love these boots, I have them in multiple colors and the construction of the shoe itself has never let me down. Sturdy, comfortable, and lovely looking. These shoes will last you years if you take good care of them. My only suggestion is to be prepared to break them in. The 1460 "broken-in" line are definitely more worn in than the original 1460's, but you'll still have to wear them a few times to fully break them in. My advice: socks and a backup bandage for when you inevitably blister. After that they're super comfortable and perfect. A great buy."
