"These types of rugs are made in Greece from excellent sheeps' wool by a very special process. Since they are generally made by hand there is a natural look to them,where there could be "bald" spots as the other person stated. Actually it is the wool that just needs to be groomed. If you want a perfect rug, I recommend polyester. I have had my rugs for over 30 years and love them as do all my visitors. I purchase more for family and friends each year."

Pretty, but...

"This is a gorgeous rug and I was really looking forward to completing my bedroom with it. Upon opening the package and laying out the rug, I noticed it had several bald spots. It also lacked proper backing on the underside. I understand that the picture in the description shows the underside, but for the high price for this item, it should have been made nicer. Overall, I would not recommend this product due to its poor quality and high price. You will be disappointed."
