"love love LOVE this dress. sexy enough to wear at night, conservative enough to wear to class/work (maybe a tank top underneath). I'm 5'6" 130lbs 34B and the small fit perfectly. has pockets, which i love. looks swell with boots. this is my new favorite dress!"
"I want to live in this thing. Its amazing. I want one in every color. Def worth it."

Not so Great...
(May 13, 2013)
"Ordered this dress hoping to make it both a day and going out dress. I got my usual size small... I'm 5'8", 130lbs, 32C. But the sleeves were SO TIGHT! I couldn't even get them to move once I finally had the dress on for fear of ripping the seams. Total constriction. The other problem was anyone who has hips should just stay away. Those pockets and the draping don't look good with hips, it really messes up the whole draping feel. The only other thing I would add was the material felt cheap, it wasn't lined or anything (which if it fit well I totally would have made it work), but since it didn't fit well, possibly due to the material chosen, I'm just putting it out there as something to pay attention to.."

Mehhhh
(April 16, 2013)
"So I think it is still overpriced and not that great quality-wise. It wrinkles super easy and is very sheer. I ordered the green, which is nice, but I will have to strategically wear this. If you have a booty, this is going to be a very sexy dress, which is fine if that is what you wanted (I wanted a classier dress). The arms are snug but they fit me perfect, for some it might be a struggle. Also difficult to keep the top fixated, I will probably use some fashion tape. Overall, it's still cute and I will configure my perfect fit, but it does take time if you aren't a stick thin model.
For reference, I'm 5'5, 120lbs, 34b with generous lady hips and a booty."

Perfect All-Occasion Dress
(April 8, 2013)
"This dress is simply amazing. Simple enough for day wear but dresses up incredibly well to make a stunning evening ensemble. I get A LOT of compliments on this dress. And did I mention it's made out of the most heavenly fabric? Oh, so, soft~ If I had more money to throw at UO I'd probably buy two more of these dresses in different colors (Since I bought mine in black.) I do, however, have two minor issues with this dress: 1. It's a little on the short side, even though I'm not remarkably tall the hem of this dress hits about 2-2 1/2 inches above my knee. Which isn't terrible for me, but on a taller person I think this dress might turn into a tunic. 2. The neckline plunges pretty low, dangerously low actually. While the top of the dress is nicely draped, the excess of fabric sometimes tends to pull in inconvenient ways...which may leave your breasts exposed. So I use two little stickies of fashion tape to hold the fabric in place to avoid wardrobe malfunctions. But other than that, this dress was a great buy and I would definitely recommend buying it. ---- Btw, for sizing reference I'm about 5'3 1/2", 34 D and 113 lbs. I bought this dress when I was about 10 lbs heavier in a size S, then and now it still fits beautifully."

"I'll admit this dress is cute and very flattering (I really wanted it to work out!), but the material is stiff with no give and the fit just did not work for my body type. For reference I'm 5'9, 130 lbs and got the black in a medium. It ended up being a bit too short for me - If I were to lift up my arms my butt would be hanging out. Also, as some reviewers have also pointed out, the arms were SUPER tight and I have some skinny arms. I would have maybe kept this dress if it had been 10$, but in my opinion it's definitely not worth the price I paid."

Super flattering but sleeves are very tight/small.
(January 8, 2013)
"I bought this dress in black and was thrilled with the way it fit everywhere- except the sleeves. I am 5'1"/120lbs/34D and it looks great except I could barely bend my arms so I am thinking I will return it for a medium. The sleeves seem like a really odd place for a dress to be too tight. My arms are relatively toned so this may be the problem."

super versatile!
(December 22, 2012)
"This dress is so awesome! it's soft and made of this jersey material that it's so easy to just toss into a weekender bag, pull it back out and go out :) i'm 5'2" 36B, size 2 or 3 in jeans and usually between a 6 and 8 in dresses/coats and i got a medium. perfect fit! i wear it with this satin waist belt and black military style boot/heels and it dresses it up. i can wear it with jeans and a skinny leather belt that wraps around twice and some brown leather sandals and i'm ready for the day. the neckline might seem too deep and sometimes it is but a little adjusting makes it as modest as you want to be. i like that it's cut that way so that i can wear necklaces i want seen against my skin than on my clothes. and the pockets aren't that deep to stuff things in it without worrying about it falling out but they're still great to have ...only bc i have an obsession with pockets on dresses the material is thin so don't wear underwear that'll show lines :P i usually opt for a thong and some spandex short shorts. it's pretty short on me but long enough that i can sit down and not worry about the back coming up as i'm going down. love love love this dress!"
"I got it in Black!came kind of faded.. but still. I wanted it to fit me just like the model wearing the black, kind of aimed at the oversized flowy dress look.. got a Medium.. the top half looked great.. but the buttom .. OMG the cut off in the middle was way ugly especially on me.made me look really wide and fat... im 125 and 5'4 and the length of it was to short for me. I got big thighs and a butt so it just didnt work out.. so sad :/ and not as stretchy as i thought it would be.. wish it fit me.. but dont recomend for girls with thick thighs! and the arms are really tight! Again the material isnt stretchy so kind of constraining"

Simply the Best Dress!!!
(December 20, 2012)
"So I am kinda annoyed because I read all the reviews on this thing and only ordered one color because it seemed like everyone was freaking out about the tight sleeves and I wanted to test it out before committing to something that I was going to have to go through the hassle of returning, ya know? So yesterday I get home from work to a huge box full of UO goodies and the first thing I try on is this dress because I was dying to see if everyone was telling the truth and I gotta say...the sleeves aren't tight in the least. I am not a small girl by any mean (5'8"/165/34DD) and I have some decently sized arms and I had no issue whatsoever with the fit, the material is just as listed with lots of stretch so there was certainly some give in the fabric. I ordered a size Medium in the olive color and it fit like a dream. The only slight, slight issue is that the top does seem rather roomier than I expected but it's still super cute. In my book it's a hands-down winner! Now I'm off to stock up on several other colors in this, the studded version, and possibly even the velvet! Good job UO!"

Love it!
(December 18, 2012)
"I received my purple dress in the mail today----and absolutely love it. I came back to this page to purchase another color. You can definitely dress it up or wear it more casual. The sleeves are a little tight, but I don't think they're made to scrunch up. I am 5'2 and 130 pounds and ordered a medium based on other reviews of it running a bit small. I would def. size up. It is short. It's above a mid-thigh length."

Does it really run larger?
(December 13, 2012)
"I'm 5'7 and 125Ibs. Usually a small or medium depending on the make and fit, however I usually opt for a medium with Urban Outfitters clothing as it quite often tends to run small. However, after reading many reviews I decided to go with a size small in the black dress, a lot of people claimed it ran large and suggested to size down. It's a very cute dress but I'm a little disappointed as the sleeves are quite tight in the small and the dress is fairly short... Wish I had of ordered the medium and that people stopped classifying a low cut dress as running large. Dont size down with this dress, go with your regular fit. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to purchase another, it'll be a medium this time and maybe I'll like it a little more."

My favorite dress
(December 12, 2012)
"I was attracted to this dress because it was simple and sophisticated. I got mine in black, size small. I am 5'0 and about 120ish. It hits a couple inches above my knees and there is plenty of bust room ( I have a good sized chest and it fits comfortably). The arms are tight but i can still move them."

Runs small
(December 6, 2012)
"Ordered this in a small and had the same problem with the sleeves being crazy tight (I'm sure they would stretch, though). It was also very, very short! I'm 5'1", 115, kinda bottom heavy and when I bent over I could see everything. I went with the S thinking it would be really loose on top because I'm small there, but after trying it on it seems like it would stay up/closed better than I expected, so I'm sure the M will be better all-around. I bought this to be an easy day dress, so if I was needing something a bit sexier for evening the S would be fine. Either way I think it's not a bad buy for being on sale, but any more than that and I'd look elsewhere for better quality - this is the kind of material that shrinks just from being washed, even if you don't dry it."

super cute but...
(December 5, 2012)
"Don't ignore the reviews that say the sleeves are absurdly small. I don't have large arms relative to the rest of my body (which fit the dress fine), but I had a hard time getting the sleeves up past my elbows. I cut them until it was wearable and called it a day.
It's cheap material with almost no stretch. I wouldn't recommend paying full price for this, but on sale it's a pretty versatile piece."
