Everything I want and need in a backpack

"Love it. Sturdy straps, great lining, beautiful materials used. Great compartment at the front with zips and handles to put pens, keys, your phone etc. Seriously in love with it. So happy that I could purchase this for much less than it cost at say General Pants Co. in Australia.
Definitely worth the money, so happy it can fit my laptop and is sturdy enough to hold my uni books."

Perfect for school

"I bought this to replace my old Herschel Settlement backpack and although it costs a little more I'm really liking the addition of the lined laptop sleeve and sunglass pocket (I use it for my phone). This is definitely bigger and roomier than the Settlement and I love that the front pocket has two compartments and the bigger front compartment haas a bunch of pockets to store smaller bits and bobs! This fits a 13" laptop, 4 exercise books, a novel, water bottle, small makeup bag and a lunch box with room left for a sweater. I can see this easily lasting over a year if I treat it well enough and I would definitely recommend this."

"This backpack is great for a high school student who has a good amount of things to carry. It really doesn't handle overstuffing very well, and I appreciate that since it helps me carry a lighter load. It holds everything I need and the straps are really comfortable. I'd totally recommend it."

Different lining

"Before I bought this bag I read a bunch of reviews complaining that the lining of the navy blue bag was a paisley pattern, which I had seen on other websites and really liked, so I thought, 'Sweet I'll get the lining I liked', but when the bag arrived today I got the ugly stripey lining!
UO can I return it for a paisley lined bag?
For anyone interested, the size/quality/usefulness of this bag seems pretty fantastic, just not happy with the lining"

"I got the black one and it's just so nice to look at.
Good quality and very durable, i put like a laptop and three books inside and it feels ok. The only thing I didn't like is the pouch where you put the your sunglasses because the zipper handle sticks out so I decided not to use that pouch anymore and you can hide the zipper so it's all cool. And it's still a 5 star."

"In need for a new backpack that could hold a uni laptop and all the usual shenanigans, I went for it based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this product and...
I also have to join the pack and say this is a sensational backpack! Im yet to find a fault with it:
-Durable materials and straps
-Quick access fleece pocket for glasses/phone/keys is awesome!
-Soo much space!
-Padding and compartment for the laptop is brilliant!
-Interior design is awesome!

"My favorite part of this bag is deffinatly the top sunglass pocket. I put my phone in there so it wont get scratched and i know excatly where it at. This bag is also good because you can hold so much in there and it doesnt look like you're hiking the Appalachian."

"I got the red one and it is really awesome, it goes well with many outfits adding that pop of red. The inside is really cool too with the red and white stripes. Was a bit heavier than I expected, but that's because of its durable canvas material, and the straps are padded, making it pretty comfortable. The leather goes nicely with the red. The laptop holder and sunglasses holder are lined with extremely soft fleece so they protect your things real well, but I put my iPod and phone in the sunglasses holder instead for easy access. I probably wouldn't put glasses there honestly. I feel like they could get crushed if you're not careful. Definitely perfect for school though! Fits about 4 one inch binders, a folder, book, planner, water bottle, and lunch sack. I love it. I'm sure it'll last me a couple years."

"I am beyond delighted with this bag and had been wanting a Herschel for so so long, the burnt orange is stunning and the lining has a cool bandanna print! I get so many compliments on the bag, and haven't seen anyone else with the orange so far. Great purchase now I just want one in every colour!"

"The material used in the laptop sleeve and sunglasses storage pocket is amazingly soft and gentle to both. Also, there is an electronics pocket on the inside with a small opening for your headphones to be drawn through. All in all, this backpack is outstanding! It's a great combination of style and toughness. Great design!"

"I by accident ordered this backpack and then emailed UO to cancel but they couldn't, which was no biggy I wanted it anyway I just wanted a better shipping date. I then received it the next day so basically UO is the best place ever buy things, also this backpack is so rockin' roll I can't even wear shoes with it because it just blows them off."

"I wanted this bag for so long, but decided to go with a different backpack that was cheaper. I soon realized that you get what you pay for. I bought this backpack and haven't regretted it since. It's sturdy and well-made. I love the fleece-lined laptop pocket. I use it everyday and have never had a backpack as good as this one. It has multiple different sized pockets, including one with little sections for pens and for keys. Great"

"I bought this product few weeks ago because i was starting school in just a few days. I was worried that i couldnt carry all my books and such not in it such as my lunchbox textbook etc. But in my amazment my back did not hurt one bit i fit everything in it. This product was amazing and worth the price and great for school"

"I also bought this backpack online in navy for my boyfriend's birthday. The description is very misleading...it made it seem that all of these bags have the cute striped lining; the navy one has an ugly pasely/bandanna lining. It was a big surprise when I opened the package. Urban Outfitters, please change the description!!!! I exchanged it for the black one... The customer service was great...free return and the black backpack was shipped in two days rather than the 7 free day shipping. Ultimately, I was satisfied...but very frustrated with the trouble I had to go through all because someone didn't write one extra sentence about the navy bag in the description."

"This backpack is a very nice product and looks amazing and feels sturdy and is worth the money the only thing i'm upset about is that the inside lining is not as pictures with red and white stripes but is a red and white paisley pattern sort of like a patters found a common bandanna. The pattern itself isn't bad or off-putting but i am very displeased with this fact and would really like to have the pattern pictured. other then this small aspect the bag still looks great on the outside and would recommend this for anybody."
