"The color is a little bit darker than in the image, but they're perfectly sheer and look great hanging in my windows! I love the fact that I can have the blinds open and curtains closed and still let in the natural light instead of having to turn the light switch on!"

hang funny

"These curtains are just OK. I had bought other styles, the ones that have ties at the top, but they are gone now. These ones are shorter and kind of an awkward length for the windows, which are a pretty standard rectangular size for an older house."

Exactly as expected

"I chose these in orange to use, actually for a nursery I'm working on for my next baby. The room is mostly yellow and white with bright pink and orange hibiscus painted on the walls around the bottom. I thought in my head orange curtains would probably look great but be hard to find, but I came across these and they work perfect! I was worried the color might be too "rotten pumpkin" but they aren't. They do look just as they did on the screen for me. They filter out enough sun while letting the room stay bright enough (we have room darkening shades under it in case they're needed) and I love the way you can pull it up and tie them during the day. Totally happy with these!"

got them in orange... it's a peculiar shade.
(April 24, 2012)
"I'll probably keep them, but beware: the orange is peculiar. I don't know how else to describe it. It's not as vibrant as in the photo... it's got a weird hue to it. Also, there isn't much to them. Not sure why they are $34.. They would be more appropriately priced at around $15-20."

Not bad, not great.
(December 15, 2011)
"I really wanted tie up curtains/shades that were sheer enough to let in light during the evening but still afford some privacy when I have them fully down and the blinds behind them still open. Finding tie up curtains isn't easy and most I could find weren't sheer and came in too bold of colors- red, hunter green, navy, etc. I wanted something pale and subtle that wouldn't suffocate my tall but narrow paned bay window. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered 3 of the grey and like another reviewer said, what you see is what you get. I like the classic tie up look in the day and the sheer cover in the evening when the sun is going down, but they are kind of a pain in the butt, too. Because all 3 panels are side by side to cover my bay window I have to line up the ties so each curtain hangs evenly, and then balance the draping between the ties, but I'm super picky about that so I'm more to blame than the curtains. My main frustration is how easily they wrinkle- the fabric is pretty much pure linen and it took two ironing sessions to get the original packaging kinks out and every time I tie them up new wrinkles appear. So I basically try to tie them at the same height everyday so I have less kinks and creases to deal with. Also the ties themselves wrinkle and crease which prevents me from having them hang long like ribbons. I'm thinking these are gonna need a weekly ironing since I tie and undo them daily. Oh, and even though UO said they'd be backordered until January I received them within a few days with the other items I ordered, which was a pleasant surprise since I even got a separate email saying they were still backordered!"

"Have the purple. The sheerness is accurately represented, and I found the color to be identical to what my monitor displayed. A muted lilac with a taupey/greige feel. I am not disappointed with the panel, I just think it is overpriced for what you get."

"It was very thin, which was fine, but... the stitching was kind of poor, and there were a few weird stains/discolorations here and there. Too bad; I returned it."

super cute
(September 29, 2011)
"this is really cute, lightweight and sheer. i got the GREY and it looks a little more green than grey but i still love it. its sheer enough to let light in when its down and half drawn, but solid enough for privacy at night."
