Really Solid Purchase

"Wanted a new backpack to replace my LL Bean bag I've had for 10 years...really liked how simple this design was. Got it in the mail today and was really pleasantly surprised. Seems like a really solid bag, well made. The zippers are a little harder to pull, but they'll get easier with time, or I'll just get used to it. It has a pocket for a laptop and perfect for someone who likes a good clean design."

"I got this bag in blue. The bag is very sturdy and excellent quality. It can carry all my books and my folder for school. The straps and back is very comfortable but sometimes the zip doesn't slide along smoothly and it catches. But otherwise it is a great purchase! highly recommended."

One Small Problem...

"I got the bag in the blue color and was extremely excited to use it for school. It fits everything and the zippers work fine....except the color runs. The dye from the bag gets all over my hands and the back of my neck. I'm not lying when i say my neck looks like a smurf right now. I'm really upset that it is dying my skin. It goes away after you wash, but still, that shouldn't be happening"

"I got the dark blue one when it was on sale for $39 - it's comfy, curves around my back. I take it to work so it's normall got my 13 inch macbook, small diary, wallet keys and phone in it. It's smaller than the POP-QUIZ (which I also have) but it's good if you've only got a couple of thinks to carry. Zipper catches sometimes and the dark blue isn't as dark as the picture - still nice and goes with most things."

"came perfectly fine. bigger than i thought and can fit all my books. the red stripes on the inside are very cute. straps are comfy. though the zipper is a little rough.

"FINALLY! Somewhere online where I could purchase the Herschel Settlement in the Olive color. Literally, this color/style is sold out at every website/store you could think of. The only Olive backpack by Herschel that I could find was the collaboration with Stussy, but I'm not a big fan of Stussy so when this item finally came back in stock here, I did not hesitate to buy!
So here's the review. The zipper does jam sometimes. But I think it's nothing to concern about. The leather in the zipper is nice and the overall appearance looks nice and fashionable. Good size to fit all your books, laptop, notebooks, and all the jazz."

"I just got it yesterday and I got the navy color. In person the book bag isn't as "blue" i should say, it's a tad darker. I like it cause it's herschel and my mom only paid $39 for it. Haha, she thinks it looks like something you would get from Target, but what do parents know anyway? I like it, and I recommend it."

One year later...

"This backpack is still in perfect condition. I've crammed it full of books, my laptop, and notebooks, and it hasn't ripped or even shown signs of wear/tear. Sometimes the zipper is difficult, but it's not anything that could make me regret getting this backpack. I'm going to be a Herschel fan for life."

"I was a bit worried that this bag would be too large and boy-ish for me, but it's actually a perfect size (even though I'm 5'3 and quite small) and it's nice and streamline. you can even wear it with skirts and dresses, without it looking too bulky.
it's perfect for uni; it can fit textbooks, a laptop, whatever you usually carry.
I love the brass zips but they sometimes stick. and one of the leather attachments on the zip for the main compartment fell off, which is a bummer because now only one of my zips has a leather bit on it."

"This backpack is actually bigger than the picture looks. This is my son's last year of high school and he has more books now than ever. I thought the picture made it look smaller than actual, but he has plenty of room. Of course, he can not carry all of the books at one time, but they are not needed everyday."
