More 36x36 please
(November 28, 2012)
"Very happy to find 36x36 in bright colors - Gap has stopped carrying this size in most of their tall pants. Would not let me place the order to ship to Australia so I had to ship it to my US address - annoying. I can't buy these here so why try to stop me from buying them? Lost a star for that."

Must COP!
(April 17, 2012)
"I'm a size 30W or 31W usually but with these pants, I had to size up to 32W and it fits perfectly! I'm on the slimmer side and like my fit to be proper. Received the pants and found a little black mark on the right thigh, too lazy to ask for a replacement because it's just a speck and will probably show up later down the lines anyways. Other than that, I'd buy another pair for sure! It's water repellent and much cheaper than a pair of Rapha cycling jeans that retail for $200+. Love the fact that they are stretchable, got the reflector, and U-Lock holder (even though I don't have a lock), good stuff Levi's you never disappoint!"

"If you are familiar with your 511 size, then by all means, it will stay the same with these pants. I am a 30x30 and it fits perfect as all the other 511s I have. The pant's features include a button-up instead of a zipper and the U-Lock. I would say these pants are more like "jeans material" because of the feel on it. Also, water runs smoothly off outside of the pants which gives another reason as a "must have.""

Great Product
(December 18, 2011)
"this brand never fails to be the best, my only concern it should be able to ship internationally, only way i had to get them was to go to America. So please put an option for the people overseas"

too small
(December 13, 2011)
"bought these in chaorcal. the pants are awesome, but I ordered a 32 waist and they are way too small. I compared them to other 32's I have and these ones were 29's at most. It's not a mistake, because the pants say they're 32's, they're just ridiculously small. Order way bigger."
"Im normally a 30/30 and they are a bit tight around the crotch, shows some man bulge. Other than that they are amazing! Water just runs off them.
Also they shipped to AUS when it says they can't be shipped internationally? WIN"

Good product, just runs WAY small
(November 17, 2011)
"Ordered the 511 commuter jeans in a 36x32 and they fit great. Unfortunately the 511 commuter PANTS in a 36x32 were too small to even put on! Seriously, if you wear a 34/36 waist in jeans you'll need a 38W in the pants.
Other than that, they're a really great product with all the same advantages of the commuter series jeans. I could only give them 3 stars since the sizing was so off."

Finally a good pair of pants!
(August 22, 2011)
"I have been in search for a pair of pants for biking and or long walking (commuting) that won't get super baggy and uncomfortable by the end of the day. These pants are spectacular, the fit, the comfort, and they just make your legs look great!
If your like me and not stick thin (6.1" 170lbs), you might want to order a size up."

Very nice update
(August 15, 2011)
"So I went to the store and saw these nice babies. And boy did I fall in love with them.
They are very sturdy and comfy yet I know they will be warm enough in the colder seasons, but they are flexible and breathable.
The little reflective bands on the inside cuffs of the pants are enough to see at night.
Be careful of sizing though, I'm normally a 30x30, but seems I need a 32x30 or 31x30 since the 30 are a bit snug like after I ate a big meal."

makes biking impossible
(August 14, 2011)
"what a nightmare. got these in the mail on thursday afternoon and haven't had the ability to have a normal ride through downtown minneapolis ever since. i can barely get around anymore. single females are constantly running into the street, completely oblivious to cars and other riders, just to ask me about these dope pants. i've already hit four people and had to replace 2 tires since i got these pants. these "commuter" pants make commuting 100% impossible.
(since no one likes a muffin top, order 1 or 2 sizes larger. these pants run really tight. other than the tight fit, they're aces.)"

Order a size up
(August 6, 2011)
"Though the description says these pants are 511's and are flexible i was shocked to find a 32 waist (my usual 511 waist) painful to button closed. I had to reorder the pants in a 33 and still the pants felt a bit tight.
Cycling wise, the u-lock holder is a bit of a squeeze and the pants themselves give a little bit of a bite at the waist, regardless, put 10 miles in on the first run and am blown away by the breathability and the durability of the pants. Levi's really outdid themselves on this one.
A must have for any true bicycle head/ levi fanatic, just order a size up.
p.s. the reflective tape does a really great job, great visibility."
